I like your way of installing the rear sway bar better than how the manufacturer intends. I think it will be more effective that way. Thanks for the tip!

great video. what i did for the rear is i cut the mounting bracket off so it was 2 blocks. that way when attached the mounts have the groove in them preventing the sway bar from popping out or binding.

Think one could take piano wire and make sway bars and at least mount the rears like that? I have a Bandit and Stampede that have the RPM extra long front arms and Slash/Stampede 4x4 rear arms and carriers and wouldn’t mind sway bars on both ends of both rigs for pavement use.

I can't finish my rear end I saw that you tighten it up but I don't see the set screws to the ends of the sway bar. Which I didn't see them in the pack.

Thanks for answer a question I WAS gonna ask and that is do they work with the LCG I bought a set for a 4x Traxxas brand but they don’t work so I put them on another with RPM oh man what a difference in driving so I’m setting up a 2wd for racing

why did you cut the rear bends off the sway bar? would help if you'd atleast give an explanation LOL, There made that way for a reason, from what I heard it's to keep the sway bar out in line with the Rear A-Arm ?? Thnx

Hey Ricky! We do not install them in the same way that HR suggests, which is why we trim them off to have them line up correctly with our installation technique.

can you post a vid of how you mounted the bar under those 2 screws in the shock tower, I don't understand how the bar still can pivot after you tighten them down. I would think the screws would tighten on them and not allow them to rotate?? and if you leave the screws loose a little then your rear shock tower is not tightened all the way down..

Thanks for your question. I use the small aluminum spacers that come in the sway bar kit and put them under a set of shock pistons that would have come with your original slash. Then the bar can rotate behind the small aluminum spacer and the larger plastic piston holds it down. Meanwhile it can all be tighten up to hold down the shock tower properly. Hope this helps.
