It's an aftermarket leaf spring. I trim some of the interrior. The chassis is very hard to drill.

I also fitted 2 motors, but I think it was a little hesitant when starting on load and it wasn't like that before. Was yours the same?

Yes, I will play it long soon and check if the gear still look good. If not maybe replace with one 370 motor.

Thanks for the video I'm looking at the moment for a cure and looks like I found it. Do the new leaf spring set just bolt straight on or did you modify with any new drill hole. Thanks for sharing 👍

@MORRIS RC well that's an incredible fix then 👏.. do you find it can bounce around a bit now rather than bind up? I've not got my truck yet but it's on its way I need to order the parts now so I can mod it straight away 🤣. Would of been nice to have a 4 link with proper shocks but maybe as mods become apparent there will be an option . Once again thanks 😊 🙏

@MORRIS RC Hi. Got my unimog and the spring set you mentioned and it won't fit according to hole orientation, you said it was bolt straight on with no new holes drilled did you have to cut away some of the tray to get the holes aligned ?

ive but the shackle kit shown but cant get to fit, did you neeed to mofify chassis

Great video. Any suggestions on where to get a new/second motor? I'd love to get some more torque on mine and do I need to buy a pinion gear for it? I'd like to also upgrade the steering and suspension like you did. I modded the body of mine to fit 6" figures like Gi Joe Classified. From MN99 motor gearbox, it's plug and play and same size also for the pinion gear.
