They're both gone now but left us this great music. Never knew these two played together. This is great. Two of the Masters.

Bobby said that hearing Milt was the whole reason he started playing the vibraphone.

This brings back memories from days gone by when I first met Mr. Milt Jackson. he was a gentleman's gentleman. A very good poker player too. Always first class!! R.I.P Milt my friend.

I second that motion! I got a chance to visit with Milt a few times. He was definitely a gentleman and quite humble and kind. Thankfully there are so many recordings of his wonderful, lyrical playing that even though he left us he on this earth we can go back and hear him play anytime...and that is such a treat!!

I was there for a Hutcherson gig at San Francisco "s "Keystone Corner" . Milt was in town and accepted the invitation to sit in . A very sobering experience as to the difference between Father and son.

Milt was winding it down by this point. Passed on just 4 months later.

If this was 'winding down,' full speed must have been INCREDIBLE.

who was/is this bass-player?! no beat at all! thankfully Mickey Roker pushes ahead regardless......but Hutch and Bags have to row through sticky waters thanks to that nitwit.
