Emanet/Legacy started out as the best and most popular Turkish series that I have seen in years. We all loved the romance between Yaman and Seher. Despite the plot twists and the storyline that sometimes were unrealistic, it was always about romance and the love between its leading actor and actress. Legacy started going downhill when the producer killed off Shahnaz/Kiraz. It kept going downhill further with the stupid and unrealistic plot that took Yaman and Seher through paralyzes, amnesia, and divorce, kidnapping and poisoning of Yaman by his mother. Finally when Seher regained her memory and she and Yaman were to get married again, she gets killed (not surprised the actress wanted to leave the series). That’s when I stopped watching Legacy. I tried to pick it up again several hundred episodes later and come to find out that 70% of the original cast are gone, killed, or whatever, including Yaman and more new actors replaced them. Now it seems the series is more of a CRIME police series. It’s not the Legacy that it started out to be. The producers should have ended it with Seher and Yaman getting married and moving away at the end of season 2 and started another crime story with the new actors. Now Legacy is unrecognizable. I could not bear to watch 10 minutes of it, let alone a 1/2 hour. Nazmiye/Karamel and whoever the producers and directors are did an excellent job of RUINING A LOVELY STORY. Congratulations in perfecting stupidity. The talent of the producers/directors knows no bounds in writing, directing and producing a nauseating series. Now I make sure not to watch anything that is produced by these incompetent idiots. And for those watching, enjoy!
