This was filmed in downtown Toronto for an 80's tv show called Night Walk! This show, along with Night Drive and Night Moves, aired very late at night in the wee hours, and featured a cameraman walking or driving around Toronto set to soothing music. Search for 'Night Walk Toronto' or 'Night Walk Global' and you can see episodes on here, including the one this video came from! Iirc, this location is on Elm or Gerrard at Yonge St. right downtown.

Thanks Carcosa, I never heard about that show, pretty interesting info, I was searching the location of this video ´cause I was intrigued by the outstanding neon art in the lower level of this building, I tried the location you pointed here with no luck, but I think I found the exact locacion at the Metro Convention Centre just next to CN Tower, it seems that they have moved the neon gallery up stairs to the third level www.google.com/maps/@43.6440151,-79.3855339,2a,75y,121.99h,95.66t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s4OmKhozGhFZQDTfwQNThIw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

I really think your voice captures the essence of the 80's New Wave singers, and I've been trying to pin point who you sound like..., a bit like Tom Hadley(Spandau Ballet)... and maybe similar to Richard Butler (Psychedelic furs)... anyway nice voice!

This song is great for when you break up with your girlfriend, so you go out on the town and do everything you couldn't do when you were with her, but you still kinda miss sleeping next to her, waking up to her face, and her perfume smell that still lingers in your leather jacket. Like if you agree.

I created a KZfaq account JUST so I could reply to this galactically stupi-a$$ comment. You would need three promotions just to be an a$$hole. This guy's voice is an institution unto itself. If he were around in the 80s, he would have lead the Silver wave of alternative music, greater than Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, The Church, all of them. He would have dominated MTV back then, magazines, etc. You are either deaf, a scab troll (because you know how good his voice is), or mercifully free from the ravages of intelligence. My guess: You're all three.
@mr.c88713 ай бұрын
@@lecasettesound This person did not deserve a reply. There is no 'rough', nor 'smooth' to the music or singing ... just greatness.
