un-boxing & I cooked some grits to see how it performs...
GRITS
1 c. water
1 c. half & half
1/2 c. grits
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp chicken base
season to taste

Looks good. I’ve never added cream or chicken base to my grits. I always add milk…. But I bet the cream with the other flavorings would be delicious. ❤❤. I’ve been thinking about adding this pot to my collection. I have the larger size but I need this one too.😅

Yes the Cream and Chicken Stock takes the Grits up another level. The 1.75 quart sauce pot is good for a small amount, I do find myself reaching for the 2.5 quart more often though...tfw 😊

You cannot use high heat-in any enamel because food will stick

Do the grits stick to the pot? Grits stick to every single pot I have ever used. After cooking I have to soak the pot for hours before cleaning it.

The grits stick a bit, but all my Le Creuset clean up beautifully, just a little hot water in the pan for about 5 - 10 minutes and everything washes right out...tfw 😊
