I drove over to the Le Labo Venice Beach store this afternoon to try it after watching this review this morning. I wish the staff weren't so hipster-aloof, particularly since they're selling such expensive fragrances. Anyway, I tried two sprays on my wrist to get a good sense of it - Its very nice, but after only about an hour or two it is a generic spicy wood dry down on me. I haven't had much luck with Le Labo - Rose 31 is great for an hour or so but does the same. I really appreciate a good dry down.

Smelled this last week on a strip pre-release and got a sample of it this week. Initial impression was that of the fragrance blast when walking by a LUSH shop. Trying on my sample reinforced that impression. I really enjoy the citrus, musk and cedar in it though. It’s what I wished LUSH Karma would have been...

Smelled this for the first time last weekend and I've dreamt of it everyday. It's unique and right up my alley.

Great to see your thoughts on this again while trying it out myself. I quite like it, and am glad that it's not really like Tonka Imperiale or Feve Delicieuse since, between those two, we've got tonka gourmands covered thoroughly. I almost get a guaiac vibe out of Tonka 25, probably due to the combination of musk and cedar, but it's very pleasant, the tonka/woody/musky combo working very well. It's quite agreeable, and it's sort of what I would've wanted out of Santal 33, something a little more satisfying and sweet. On the axis from safe to daring, Tonka 25 is certainly on the safer side, but it feels like a year-round staple to me. I think it's a solid release even if a bit tame.

I just bought this Sebastian after blind buying Lys 41. I will probably be returning Lys 41. I do feel like I am not giving Lys 41 a fair chance. Perhaps I am smelling it in the wrong season. Tonka 25 Smells so unique on me. Love it. Runners were Santal 33, D’orangear. Def full bottle worthy. I have samples of D’Orangear and Santal 33. Lets see how those play out on my skin.

I’m obsessed with this fragrance - One of my favorite fragrances of 2021. Just bought it last night and love the way the cedar is blended with the tonka and I typically do not like tonka in my fragrances.

Intriguing but I shy away from cedar so I may not go out of my way. I don’t have a lot of experience with Le Labo, not sure why I haven’t sampled that many.

I did a rather large paper sample of le labo at Nordstrom. I really liked this one and neroli 36. I purchased neroli but tonka will be my next purchase. I will say that I wish my neroli would last longer in terms of performance but I like the clean scent I get from using neroli.

It's good to hear it's quite different than other tonka dominant fragrances , so.it wouldn't be redundant to get this one. It'll be interesting to see how it performs , great video👍 Sláinte🙏

Tonka Bean Absolue is ridiculously delicious, one of my favorite natural raw materials and definitely the most mouthwatering of all LOL :) Curious to try this one though, as I know they play with the names of their perfumes and other notes are more dominant comparing to the ones mentioned in the perfume name :P

Nice scoop! It's late here but can't help to watch the video. Gifted Bergamot 22 to my sister but don't own any yet. Favourites from my testing are The Noir 29 and Another 13. Too bad I did not managed to try Gaiac 10 as the city exclusives were not available here last month. Have you checked out Zara's 4MBR0X which is quite similar to Another 13?

So excited about this one. I'm sure i'll love it.

Initially, I wasn't sure whether to hate or to love Tonka 25. It smelled vile on the blotter paper -- like a combination of musks, powdery florals, and a woman's dirty underwear. On the skin, it was a reasonably pleasant musky, powdery floral -- not my favorite type of scent, but certainly not a scrubber either. What most impressed me though was Tonka 25 scent's evolution and it's sheer staying power. I sprayed it on in during late afternoon and it lasted through the next day. The fragrance that I sprayed on my cotton shirt survived a thorough laundering, and was still quite prominent. I liked Tonka 25 enough that I purchased two 1.5 ml vials from the Le Labo shop in Chelsea. I still can't get over the fact that it smells like a girl's dirty panties upon initial spraying thought, lol.

Today I learned that we have even more in common - you hate dabbers! LOL Believe it or not I only discovered tonka very recently, when someone gifted me a sample of Tonka Imperiale (non-spray!) which led me to Feve Delicieuse. Question - how do you feel about Eau Noire? NIce review :)
