For some reason whenever i drive to work and this comes on to spotify, i immediately think of two things: 1: The intro to this game 2: The track intro: "Welcome to the circuit de la sarthe, venue for greatest of all races, the Le Mans 24 race! The track is 13.6 kilometres in length and takes place mainly on public roads, with such corners as mulsanne, arnage, maison blanche and tet rouge, the track features the ultra long... mulsanne straight, which is nowadays cut up with two chicanes!" How i have never have a speeding ticket after 15 years of driving is beyond me! It is just the ultimate driving song, especially when you get to a turn like at @1:54 in the song and the sun smashes into face mid turn at the same time as the song.

Time to feel the nostalgia. Or time to feel really old. Almost twenty years past since the release of this game in 2001. When racecars still not only were allowed to sound like racecars, but when this was an obligation and a question of honor. You didnt have the fastest car, but by far the loudest? Crowd‘s favourite team all weekend long...

i had this game when i was about 7-8 years old, but after the intro the game always got stuck, never got the chance to play it :( The intro however was enough to start loving le mans! :D

yeah man, I still play this game with my friend in pro when we are in the same country. The handling was average, but the AI and race strategy are exceptional. Pity about Tiff Needle saying "oh no, what is he doing?" every 4 seconds.

Remember hearing this song and loving it, but not knowing who it was or what it was called. But I also remember hearing it on the radio years later and all the nostalgia that came flooding back. Epic.

This video gave me goose bumps. I didn't particularly enjoyed the game for after playing GT 2 but this intro mann. It was just perfect!

i loveeeee this game im a girl but i love racing games and i have this game for pc. buttt for some reson it doest work on my new acer desktop pc. i used to play it fine on my old compaq presario desktop that one had windows my acer has vista maybe thats why :( i miss playing this! i had a paystaion but i never knew they had it for playstation till now lol. and i dont have my ps anymore :( it got messed up so i threw it out. :(
