the tanaka guy is actually korean, kim kyung-wook. he’s pretending to be japanese but like a stereotypical japanese guy who walked out of the 2000s using a rly popular japanese surname lmao. his hairstyle was super popular years ago and the aegyo thing he did was also pretty old. its funny and cringe to japanese viewers cause of the outdated trends, and to koreans, the gag is that he is very obviously not japanese but is trying to keep it up w the fake accent some of this mayve been obvious idk but
