It’s also in Koreatown in LA and probably happy to work with Korean artists. I just can’t imagine how this is a controversy. Literally John Wick was filmed there with shooting and murder. But somehow THIS is the moment the general public decides churches can’t be used as filming locations? It’s just too forced and obvious.

To be specific the room called Sanctuary it’s not a church. Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in lost angeles has a sanctuary, parlor room, 2 chapel , gym, rooftop basketball court and Parish hall. It also not a Catholic Church, it’s a Presbyterian Church who broke away from Catholic in the 15-16th century.

FYI the church they filmed in IS a filming location ! many movies and mv's are filmed there, not used as a real church anymore. People have ALSO held concerts in there!! i keep seeing people on tiktok hate on them cause of the church thing, which i get if you dont know the history of this specific church, but people unstanning lsfm over it is kinda weird :/

Amen! I attend a church, and one of the progressive things that my church did was held Super Bowl parties!!! Yes the church wants more attendants and they are willing to recognize the interests of its members. They already had a big screen television, the least they could do was throw a Super bowl party that was alcohol free!!!! I am not bothered by the church welcoming people instead of being too strict and severe in its beliefs.

Yeah, about "The Church". They filmed in the old Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, which has been used as a set for music videos and films in the past. The church was used as a set for the films "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Legally Blonde 2," and "John Wick." Additionally, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles filmed their cover of "True Colors" in the church. So people been going crazy stupid about this topic without doing little research.... very classic about people using social media... Also the fact that they are playing with the words Im Fearless~Le Sserafim, been Seraphims the highest rank angels in abrahamic mythology is very cleaver. But again people feeling offended over nothing is quite regular these days.

The song is catchy AF, and the dancing is on point whoever made the choreography they slayed. It said that KBS banned the MV because of either the dancing at the church or that scene of chaewon in the bathtub where someone put a hair dryer in the tub and electrocuted her.

Sakura in both Scenes depicts a Seraphim (SSERAFIM) the bibilical representation of an Angel which can have multiple Forms / an Angel with burning Wings (Seraphim are also called the Blazed ones because of that) Kazuha had burning Wings in the UNFORGIVEN Trailer/MV and Sakura has covered Eyes which is also a representation of a Seraphim but also there is a non Human representation of a Seraphim in the shape of a creature with multiple Animal Heads one of them being a Lion with it's fangs Out (so I think that should be the Scene with Sakura and her teeth). And yes Yunjin is definitly supposed to be Freya that cries Gold tears. In Christianity Ivy stands for love, friendship, immortality and death. 👍🏻

The 2024 Kpop fanbase is just full of hypocrites and haters just for the sake of hating. Creating narratives that wasn't even there in the first place and then believe whatever suits them. This church issue is so forced they don't even try to understand. First of all the MV would've never happened if filming in that church wasn't allowed. People talk as if HYBE and Source broke into that church to film without permission. LE SSERAFIM (Seraphim) literally the word is there, fallen angels. That's always been their concept. Those saying they replaced the cross with their logo like wtf do you want them to do, show the cross in the MV? Because if they did then that's when you can call them disrespectful. All of a sudden everyone's religious on the internet but in real life you just know most of them are just a-holes that don't even pray.

Just so you guys know, the Presbyterian church that they filmed in is in California and was decommissioned (is not nor will be a place of worship) & is used for community service events, concerts, & filming work like shows, movies, and music videos like this one. It’s not sacred grounds or anything of those sorts ☺️
