Haiti, je l'ai toujours dit, n'est pas le pire des pays existants. Ah! Il est riche! Il y a encore de l'espoir pour ce coin de terre devenu aujourd'hui la risée des nations. Le ciel est témoin que l'on nous appauvrit et Il jugera ces peuples méchants auteurs de notre appauvrissement. J'ai foi et confiance en Lui dont les mains ont créé les cieux et la terre. Amen! Amen! Cologne and perfume needs to be manufacturer in Haiti. For example let's say the vetiver cost $5,000 a drum. That same drum with your own perfume line May equal $500,000 of products.

Chers haïtiens , Il faut planter les ananas, les avocats les bananes,les mangues,les patates douces, les papayes pour exporter en Europe tous les fruits comme ça sont très chers en Europe vous avez des milliers hectares de terre si vous voulez Haïti développe vraiment c'est le moment je suis en Europe ils ont besoin des fruits comme ça.

C'est une très bonne chose pour le pays mais le gros problème c'est qu'il y a certainement des profiteurs qui achètent a bas prix sans se soucier de la difficulté de ces cultivateurs . Mon père était cultivateur à kenscoff , je sais de quoi je parle 😉

Je partage tout à fait votre inquiétude. C'est pour cela je pense que les agriculteurs devraient s'organiser davantage à travers des coopératives. Et également il devrait y avoir plus d'entreprenariat dans ce secteur afin de créer de la concurence et ainsi favoriser de meilleurs prix de cette matière première en faveurs des petits producteurs.

Basically, the video is talking about the vetiver plant which can be a deforestation and employment solution for Haiti. The vetiver plant is used to make perfumes. The vetiver oil fragrance is very costly. The poor farmers sell the vetiver to manufacturers and exporters. They do not make that much money but at least it gives them employment. Haiti is the number 1 vetiver exporter in the world. Haiti needs more vetiver farmers!!!
