William Jefferson Clinton was the first Democratic president in six decades to be elected twice - first in 1992 and then in 1996. Under his leadership, the country enjoyed the strongest economy in a generation and the longest economic expansion in U.S. history, including the creation of more than 22 million jobs.
After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the Clinton Foundation with the mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote health and wellness, and protect the environment.
In addition to his Foundation work, President Clinton has served as the top United Nations envoy for the Indian Ocean tsunami recovery effort and as the UN Special Envoy to Haiti. Today, the Clinton Foundation is supporting economic growth, capacity building, and education in Haiti.
President Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas. He and his wife Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton have one daughter, Chelsea, and live in Chappaqua, New York.

The most articulate, knowledgeable, reflected, open-minded, genuinely curious politician I've ever seen. I think the United States are lucky to have had him. If you hear him talk and reason about things, you can't help but think that the prosperity and relative peacefulness and stability of the 90s was in no small part down to Clinton personally.

BILL CLINTON is the reason why we have a nuclear crisis with NORTH KOREA today. His failed North Korea Nuke deal of 1994 is why! The Republicans rejected his dumb deal; BUT he BYPASSED the Republican congress ANYWAY, and continued to FUND the North Koreans for 7 years! (See KZfaq video number: v=6TcbU5jAavw) His wife HILLARY, pre-negotiated the Iran Deal which is also a colossal failure. He was a very good president. It´s a shame that got overshadowed by scandal. I´m sure he learned a lot from his mistakes. The issue of massive jobs shortages for young people is something that all countries should be addressing and working together to solve. There is simply no reason why there should not be enough jobs because there is so much to to be done. Yes, our common humanity. That should not just be the filter, but the starting point in addressing all of the major issues that all people face across the world. Respect is essential and without it, Trust is eroded and dies. That was a pretty cool present from Hilary. Really wish today´s ´leaders ´would listen and learn more from Bill Clinton.

what does this prove? do you really think economic crisis is due to the change in presidency? don't you think it's rather something ineluctable related to capitalism? just look at history from a higher perspective, every cycle since the industrial revolution has been: growth, economic crisis, war.
