This is Mission number 17 in our fictional Operation Burning Sands Campaign where we are bringing the fictional countries of the old Strike Fighters Flight Simulator Series to life within Eagle Dynamics' Digital Combat Simulator World. Members of my community have been craving more story driven missions and more roleplaying in said missions and a fictional campaign with a fictional storyline allows us to breakthrough the harsh geo-political realities of the DCS Syria Map and create a gritty, Tom Clancy like storyline for our two fictional middle eastern nations of the Kingdom of Dhimar and the Empire of Paran.
In this mission the Sultan of Paran and the Emir of Kerman the leader of the Islamic Emirates of Persia have ordered their Air Forces to conduct what will undoubtably be a suicide mission to destroy the Shah of Dhimar's palace on the outskirts of the capital of Damascus. While the pilots of the Empire of Paran Air Force and The Islamic Emirates of Persia Air Force are not happy about their orders, they have resolved to carry them out to the best of their ability.
