This is so exciting!!!!!! I've been following Sarah (and Sierra :)) for a couple of years, even when she was taking her breaks away from bowling, and now here she is with an 800 in USBC singles!!!! This is like having my baseball team make it to the world series!! Totally rooting for you!!!!!

So awesome! Congratulations on your first 800 series, it's such a great feeling. I remember my first one I was so glad to finally get it out of the way. I told my wife which ball I'll shoot 800 with if I hit one and that was the ball 801. Congratulations again! Great Bowling!

I have a friend that lives in reno and plays bridge tournaments there like every other month. I bowled in the ABC nationals back in the late 1990s

the bowling stadium is used all the time. Many of the area leagues (as far as Sacramento) have sweepers in the Stadium.

Congrats! On your 803 and your first place standing. That’s amazing. I recently moved to Reno and joined a few leagues. From what I’ve been told, the bowling stadium is only used during big events. Sometimes they’ll open it to the public during those events. Otherwise, it stays empty the rest of the year. It’s a beautiful venue. It’s too bad the public cannot use it. Such a waste.

Bowling an 800, on one of the biggest bowling stages, will forever be in your life, memories, and enshrined, at the USBC Nationals Center. You are, with a select few, who have bowled an 800 series, at the right time. I am so very proud of you Sarah!!! Your THUNDER is in tact. 300 coming for Sierra. Keep them pins scared, Gals.

Very good bowling Sarah. The rest of the women pros will be coming through there in the coming weeks so hopefully you will still be leading one of the divisions after that. And if you are wondering the regular nationals are in baton rouge next year

It is amazing to me that you are getting so much resistance to filming and promoting a USBC event. Others do it on the male tour just fine Darren, Brad and Kyle etc. Sounds like you need to go over whatever official was power tripping and get a clear guideline on that one. If bowling as a sport wants to grow we need more content and people like you, not actively putting up roadblocks in front of them.

Bowling IS one of the most popular sports in the world. It's played nearly everywhere, and at a participatory level it's number one. Don't judge everything by the TV ratings or prize money of professional leagues.

I have been there so many times, and I have never been on the 5th floor. Ummm… Every year, there are large “local” tournaments that are held there. There are always events at the National Stadium.

Congrats on leading the tournament! Now that you're leading singles you may want to consider unpublishing yesterday's vlog because it contains 8-10 shots that might not fall within the "noteworthy" recording exception. Imagine if the second place person makes a stink about the video policy to USBC because it could get them the trophy. Some people can be.....well you know. Protect that Eagle!

First off... great bowling! Go Get 'Em!!! I hope it holds up! now my observation...Admittingly, I do not know all the rules with the Women's Championships but resurfacing your ball after it has been thrown in the team event is a no-no at the Open Championship. Granted that they cannot tell what is done to a ball when you take it to your room but you videoed it. One more observation.... the tshirt your mom was wearing... or the other lady... one of them really looked like a tshirt and most likely the lane monitors at the Open Championship wouldn't have allowed it. Stupid rule...yes... and i hope it was legal at womens because it was cool.

@@TheSarahKlassenChannel that's cool about the shirts... i liked them. We can wear jeans (in good shape - no holes) at the OC but not shorts. My doubles partner and I wore Loudmouth golf knickers a couple of years and we almost got harassed for those until we pulled out the email from the tournament director saying they were allowed. I'm still waiting for the day i can wear my speedo and tube top!
