What a wonderful and informative video ... Your calm presentation, excellent instructions and nice photography were so enjoyable. I also loved the elegance of the framed displays. I am going to try this out! Thanks so much for creating and sharing this tutorial.

Regale takes forever!!!! I sped the process up with baking soda mixed with water. Alocasia and Philodendron melt and turn to mush and tear.

@@dsepisodes so far for me, most common monstera do not, philodendron of all varieties I’ve tried to not, aristolochia leuconeura does but there is a tiny window between ready to go and melty.

Nice video! I use a bit of running water and a toothbrush to tap it .. to get the debris off, it also works very well. Regales indeed take forever and disintegrate veins too fast ... queens are the easiest in my opinion .. soak em long enough and they come out almost clean!

Awesome! I always felt that the running water was too harsh.... Yep anmd crystals as well! Mag's tend to have thicker leaves as well.

I found out it depends. Ofc smaller ones are faster, but some thicker leaves (magnificum etc) can take longer. I guess 1-2months

@adansoniia
@adansoniia Ай бұрын
Depends on your conditions and leaves: higher temperatures = less time; thicker leaves =longer. I'd say 2 weeks is the minimum (but I do them form 1mo+) and then I try gently scrubbing off the tissue from the levaes. If it easily comes off, it's most likely ready

I watched this video ages ago, and was bothered about a word you used whilst you captioned you shaking the spray paint. I didn’t say anything, because I felt it would cause more issues than it’s worth. I since forgot about this video. Found it again because I want to make a skeleton leaf out of my Clarinervium, and remembered that I didn’t like the word you use. Please don’t use the word “retarded” it’s such a derogatory word for people with disabilities. Even though you didn’t call anyone it, it ruined this video a bit for me. It bothered me because I have autism and have been called such a horrid word before. I just hate the word, anytime anyone says it, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.
