Have you ever wondered how to prune a Chinese Elm tree? When trimming these trees, we typically elevate the lower limbs to increase vertical clearance, prune out the dead limbs, and most importantly, we thin out the canopy to allow for a greater air flow and sunlight penetration. This helps increase the health of the tree.
As you watch this video, pay attention to how our climber methodically works his way through the canopy. Also, check out the growing stack of limbs on the ground next to the tree. This will give you a good indication of how much debris is being cut. Oh, and do not forget to check out the beautiful clouds whizzing by!
