First of all, I hate League of Legends. I'm a League Hater. Kind of. I'm a Non-League of legends Player who reacted to Arcane for the first time, and I loved it. Now I'm checking out K/DA POP/STARS Music video after lots of you guys requested it. Sadly Vi, Caitlyn, Jinx and the others weren't in this :( But Kai'Sa is!
For those who care, this was my Arcane Journey: In my episode 1 video "League Hater REACTS To Arcane Episode 1 (Arcane 1x1 REACTION) Welcome to the Playground" we met Mylo and Claggor, along with Vander. In our Episode 2 Reaction, we met Caitlyn, Jayce, and Viktor! The council people as well, like Heimerdinger. What are those blue crystals? Why does Piltover hate magic? Episode 3 BROKE ME. Silco Lore, Vander Death, Mylo Death, Claggor Death :( Episode 4, Jinx and Silco are together. Jinx PTSD goes crazy. Jayce and Viktor created HexTech with HexGate and other arcane magic tech! And Vi is in Prison? Episode 5, Vi and Caitlyn work together and have a little chemistry going on. I love Vi calling Caitlyn cupcake. and that Jayce and Mel scene! Viktor is sick. Viktor dying, and Powder dies to be reborn as Jinx. Episode 6, Heimerdinger gets voted out. Hexcore. Vi meets Silco again. Vi and Jinx Reunite. That Jinx Flare Scene! Episode 7, Ekko Firelights Leader Revealed! Ekko vs Jinx as amazing. The Viktor Shimmer scene was wild, and that Marcus Death scene!? Episode 8, Vi and Jayce Fight Together! Silco kisses Jinx on the forehead, he really cares for her. Mel's Mother arrives. Caitlyn meets Jinx? Viktor Runs, and Sky Death! The Episode 9 Finale, My Arcane Ending Reaction was a bunch of tears. Caitlyn vs Jinx. Silco's Death, Jinx Ult.. I'm crying just thinking about it. And now after watching the Enemy Music Video, Bridging The Rift Behind The Scenes, Get Jinxed, Annie Origins, Ekko Seconds, Warriors 2020, Awaken 2019 and The Call 2022! Here's me reacting to K/DA Pop/Stars, even though i'm not a big fan of k-pop. K-pop hater reacts? lol. I hope you enjoy my league of legends music video reaction!

The rapper qith hat is Akali voiced by Soyeon G-idle, Ahri blonde girl voiced by Miyeon G-Idle. The glasses girl is Evelyn voiced by Madison Beer, and Kaisa with kind of wings behind her, the one who is got run over lol 😂 voiced by Jaira Burns. Soyeon is considered as the best female rapper in 4th generation kpop. So yeah she's spit fire 😍🔥

The rapper is Akali, aka Soyeon from the group Gidle. She writes the songs and produces them for her group. I recommend the other Kda tracks. I like Kda The Baddest.

One I seldom see people react to is Legends Never Die and I don't know why! Burn it all down is also good and as far as a Kda song, Villain, More and Drum Go Dum Heads up: Villain is a concept animation basically describing evelyn. There are visuals that imply how she plays with your senses, audio that showcase how she plays with your mind, music that sums up her entire personality lighting that shows how she fights. Her entire vibe is sadistic, sensual and villainous. It's really worth a watch

You must not know that there's rap in kpop, lol! Almost every kpop song that I know (and I have a kpop Playlist of 200+ songs) have not only rap in them, but most groups have 2 or more rappers in them. I really honestly believe that you would love kpop if you have it a chance. Some suggestions I have for you if you'd like to dip your toes in is Blackpink- Pink Venom, BTS- Run BTS dance practice (not to be confused with their older song Run, this one is Run BTS and it's more recent), and Stray Kids- God's Menu. Enjoy!

Definitely need to check out True Damage and Pentakill: Mortal Reminder too. And the rest of the KDA tracks. The laundromat scene may not make sense but it's a popular trope in many KPOP MV/s

KDA has 6 songs: POP/STARS, their debut single that blew up the internet. EP All Out: THE BADDEST, lyrics video that is fire 🔥 MORE, featuring Lexie Liu as Seraphine. A proper K-Pop video Introducing Seraphine (new champion at the time) as a collab. VILLAIN, concept video and solo song from Evelynn. Oh! and you are right Eve is bad 😈. Her (original) lore says that she is "a creature" that takes the form of human's desire to lure and seduce them just to kill them on the best moment to fed herself with the horror and agony of her victims. I'LL SHOW YOU, Ahri's solo song/video about proving herself she is not just a One Hit Wonder and has more to give the world. This song features TWICE (K-Pop super popular group) as Ahri's voice. DRUM GO DUM, this is Kai'Sa solo song but the video is performed by Bailey Sok who is an incredibly amazing dancer who was actually 16 at the time!! (She also appears on the POP/STARS dance video when she was only 14!, check it out, she is the 💣)

This was animated by Fortiche, the studio that did Arcane. It's Ahri, Kai'sa, Evelynn (The one in the car and singing on the subway with Akali), and Akali (the rapper). Akali is also in True Damage, the virtual hip hop group. Laundromat scenes are kinda a K-Pop staple :D There are dozens if not hundreds of dance troupes who did videos for the Pop\Stars and More dances too! All over youtube.

I love the fact that there is a "Director's Cut" version with Fortiche's heads instead of Ahri, Kai'Sa, Eve and Akali. I hate is not online xD

If you like K/DA and want to give Kpop a chance, I'd suggest looking into (G)I-DLE, which has two members in K/DA. (Soyeon, the leader/rapper, is Akali in K/DA and other music projects, and Miyeon is Ahri in K/DA.) Soyeon writes and produces a lot of I-DLE's music, and writes all her own raps. She's got some of the best raps in Kpop. I'd recommend Lion, $$$, Psycho, My Bag, Oh My God, and Is This Bad B**** Number? to hear some more great raps by her. (Is This Bad B**** Number? comes from her solo mini-album and features Lee Young Ji, who is another great Kpop rapper.) If you want more K/DA, I'd recommend The Baddest, because you mentioned More is already on your list, and both of those are great.

there are more K/DA songs but not all have them have videos. POP/STARS and MORE are the ones with elaborate videos featuring all the girls (Ahri, Kai'sa, Evelyn (the purple haired one with the glasses) and Akali (the girl with the mask. She was the ninja with the smoke bombs in Awaken so you have seen her before in a different 'skin'). Then there is 'Villain', Evelyn's solo with a pretty cool but not character focussed video and Ahri's solo 'I'll show you' with video. They have more songs but some with just lyric video's or dance feature videos. Apart from K/DA the K-pop band, league also has True Damage with their song Giants which is hip-hop I think. And then there is their longest running band: Pentakill, who have three full albums with one music video and a sort of animated live concert (much lower budget animation though).They are a metal band, so it's a bit less popular amongst the regular crowd. I have friends who like metal though and they listen to their songs without knowing it's league related XD. When it comes to music Riot really is great though. There is a running joke that they are a music company who just happen to do a game on the side. Just like with their animation styles, their music is very broad and has huge production value (I guess that was obvious from Arcane). There are tons of champion themes that I listen to on a regular basis as well, like for instance Kindred's theme (more Classical in style) or Ornn's theme (just gorgeous music, Celtic style).

You should check out Project L, the League of Legends fighting game being made by Riot. I know that a lot of people aren't into Mobas, but Riot's making a ton of games for basically every genre.

Remember in Arcane - bridging the rift part 2 : they were talking about "keeping the light on at Fortiche" while Arcane was put on pause after the first draft of the pilot was deemed unsatisfactory. These projects were 2 videos: Rise (2018) and K/DA POP/STARS. The visuals slap in both videos because it's Fortiche studio post-arcane (or rather, in the middle of it), and therefore at the top of their game. Also, at 6:48 of bridging the rift part 2 (start at 5:17 if you want the whole context), you can see a short parody (or funny concept test, I don't know why they did it, but I'm so glad they did XD) of this video, except instead of the 4 singers, it's 4 of the founders of Fortiche, it's quite hilarious to see them dancing! XD You had not seen K/DA POP/STARS yet, so you might not have noticed it. The laundromat is a common trope in K-pop videos (don't ask me why, I have no idea! XD), so they wanted to reference it/ make fun of it. Like, the others are in epic places: painting the tube, in a racing car, on the road... and Ari is just chilling doing her laundry XD (Until even the washing machine become epic with a kind of magical/ metaphorical trap!) The music slaps hard too, but I'm like you, I'm just in awe of the visuals. Yes there are more songs (though not all animated, although they have real dancers when they are not): Pop-stars, More, as you said, but also the baddest, villain, drum go dum, I'll show you. I'll show you, drum go dum and villain are each by a single one of the singers. Yeah, I can count to 4 too: one is missing (the one for Akali) XD We're still waiting, and for any songs of K/DA to be honest, their return would be epic!

Im not usually a fan of K-Pop but most of the league of legends k-pop songs are actually really good. My fav clip and song is for sure Villain, where Evelynn (The one with the long nails) is heavily featured Also all characters in this video are - Ahri (Nine tails) - Akali (The neon girl in the train) - Kai'sa (The girl that got hit by the car xD) - Evelynn (The long nails girl driving the car)

Baddie in the Lambo is Evelynn, we have not seen her yet. Lore wise, she is a literal sex demon. A Succubus (Runeterra doesent have Succubi but for the sake of simplicity. She is the Demon of Pain). (K/DA is in a different universe than "canon" League but still in the K/DA Universe she has multiple lovers that mysteriously dissappear. She could make me dissappear tho ngl) The second one you "dont know" is Akali, we know her from the Awaken Video! Although she is only in there for short. MORE is the second biggest song of K/DA, they did make a small EP where each member got their own song and short video but they are not of this quality. So yea MORE is the only one that actually got a good Music Video, the other songs are pretty good aswell tho the best one being Evelynns "VILLAIN" its a fucking banger

The KDA songs are all pretty good. More is the next one, and then you have 4 songs, one for each member (Villain is the best of those 4 imho, and the visuals are a insane). If you're more into hip-hop, you could check Giants (from True Damage, another LoL band). Mortal RReminder by Pentakill (LoL 3rd band) is also a banger. Other tthan that, you could go into the Star Guardian line, it's an anime alternative universe with league character being Magical girls (though maybe just read a little bit on it first if you want some context !). Oh, and don't worry about reacting to the visuals, they are worthy of praise in general ! Also, pretty sure PopStars is animated by Fortiche, the french studio that made Arcane

So two main notes about this, first at 2:42, it's actually a fun little easter egg, the clothes in the basket, is Ahri's set for her older Pop star skin. Lastly, if we count MORE in, then there's 5 more KDA songs in total. 2 group song (MORE And Baddest) and Villain, Drum go Dum and I'll show you, which are solo songs.

I thought that I did not like kpop before POP/STARS made me interested. Naturally, since 2 of (G)I-dle members are in K/DA, I checked them out and have not been disappointed. RIOT has really got lucky with draft picks... they pulled Cristian Linke from customer support and signed Soyeon and Miyeon before (G)I-dle debut.

I'm sure others will have said it, but if you liked this song, you would probably like a couple of their other ones. K/DA - More ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/abyEnqWm3buYqZ8.html ) K/DA - The Baddest ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNF5d5uQzNS4qKs.html ) Those 2 are both similarly inspired (Hip Hop/Rap with KPop). If you're a fan of that genre, League has another group (even has Ekko from Arcane in it) called True Damage (Also Hip Hop/Rap inspired, but no KPop). Features Becky G and Keke Palmer (if you remember her as an actress). True Damage - Giants ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qbyKo6t3vcmqeqs.html ) And of course K/DA has more songs, I just figured these would be the more enjoyable ones (if you're into more...I guess you would say R&B...you might like K/DA - Drum Go Dum, which will make ya want to shake it...maybe...) Happy Valentine's day! 😁 One thing that's really cool about this video is that there's only like 1 camera move, a zoom out, for every single shot (plus some rotating spins for transitions). And oh please, pay attention to the visuals, they're amazing! 😂

Yes, you're perfectly right! Fortiche are making their visuals as if there was an invisible camera filming every scene. The position of the "camera" is never at random, it's always a conscious choice. Which gives it a very cinematographic experience - like in Arcane. That's one of the reasons they are so great at what they do!

I personally don't mind on what you focus on the music videos tbh. Some praise the music others the visuals some both but that will be different to each person. Obviously there are "animation artist react to", or "music producer reacts to". But you being the "league hater reacts to" I don't think there is something you should be explicitly focusing on. Hope seeing more of kda. There is the "more" song and then a lyrics video for "the baddest". And then like 3 solo songs, one for ahri, one for kai'sa and one for evelyn. In the kda lore Akali also did a "feat." for the True Damage song Akali is the ninja girl from awaken/tales of runeterra Ionia Evelyn, I don't think you have seen her in anything yet (she doesn't appear in cinematics, just kda stuff), but she is like a succubus in league Kai'sa you obviously know her as well as Ahri.

Ay, KDA! Best Valentine's Day present ever. This is actually the first kpop song I ever listened to. And I really don't listen to kpop at all except for KDA. You were spot on with Kai'sa and Ahri. The other two baddies are Akali (subway gal) and Evelynn (car girl). They are my two favorite KDA members, not gonna lie. Akali is a Ionian ninja and Evelynn is a demon of agony (she looks way different in game). Hahaha Cannot wait for you to see "More" and "Villain". They are awesome (but I'm not gonna be too hype, cause I don't wanna overhype it. Lol) BUT I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS.

Dont worry about focusing on the visuals too much. Kpop is a genre you are basically supposed to pay attention to the visuals as well so you are enjoying it just the way it is supposed to!

The visuals are indeed great. I mean they have throughout the whole video the camera moving backwards or the group synchron dancing is still in details so slightly off that it feels so much more real.

There are several KDA songs, but not all have cinematics. The ones with cinematics are: Pop Star, More, Villain, I'll show you, Then there are without cinematics: Baddest, Drum go Dum, Then there are the Seraphine's songs and covers: Childhood Dreams POP/STARS Made Me This Way The Starry Eyed Songstress All the things she said Probably there are also other KDA songs, but I don't know them.

I remember hearing a couple of songs from Arcane then I found KDA. After that, I made sure my entire family watched all of Arcane and almost all of the League music videos lol Edit: my dumb ass only realized who Akali was in League after seeing her go neon in her animation short. Also notice the attention to detail with the water drops on the camera during the rap. They gradually disappear every time they flip back

Hey all I will say is that in the future there is a video/song called "Rise" the songs "Rise" and "POP/STARS" were both performed lave in 2018. The performance (worlds 2018 opening ceremony) was incredible with moving stage, holograms, and fireworks. I heavily recommend that sometime in the future you watch these two videos.

Akali (the glowing girl) was absolutely slaying in this cinematic. The scene with her in the subway is so good. It almost makes up for how much I hate playing against Akali in League :D Kai'Sa was indeed in this cinematic as well (K/DA is a skinline in League).

My V-day present to you is a like and a comment (though a day late) 😝 Pop/Stars goes hard, but I still prefer MORE (better rap imo, tongue-in-cheek visuals of them animating that they're on a sound stage, Kai'Sa does more than just dance and get hit by a car). Also, yeah I was also surprised when my wife got Just Dance and Pop/Stars came on to dance to. Like whaaaat? The other songs from K/DA that aren't MORE are: The Baddest: really good song sonically, it just has a lyric video. The people who sang for Evelyn (Madison Beer) and Kai'Sa (Jaira Burns) got replaced so it sounds different. Villain: This one has Madison Beer back as Evelyn, backed by Kim Petras (they did Unholy with Sam Smith), it is basically a solo song for Eve Drum Go Dum: Supposed to be the solo song for Kai'Sa, has Aluna and Wolftyla in it. There is a dance video by well-known choreographer/dancer Bailey Sok for this one I'll Show You: The solo for Ahri, they replaced everyone so this has a different vibe altogether. Instead of (G)I-DLE it's members from TWICE, and imo is very bubblegum pop vocally. Very upbeat but still good.

Man that video was so fun ! You should react to villain and drum go dumb. Soyeon is a corean k-pop rapper and she is so good, she voices Akali. I'm not into k-pop either (I only listen to horrible french rap damn) but the k/da songs are soooo good

the one with the glasses is evelynn, kaisa is the one in the subway and with the two things in the back, akali is the one in the shadows and ahri appears in the laundry cuz she is washing her past (she have like three skins with firts is popstar ahri, thats the clothes she is washing to forget her past, then this one, kda ahri and then kda all out ahri in the next video "MORE" )
