REMEMBER, DIMASH WAS OFFERED A FULL TIME POSITION IN one of the premier Opera companies in his country. Not only is Dimash's basic vocal foundation OPERATIC which is what he is using UNDERNEATH WHATEVER STYLISTIC CHOICE HE EMPLOYS VOCALLY, Dimash additionally has "perfect" pitch, which means that his voice ALWAYS HITS THE RIGHT NOTE because he does not need a backing musical instrument to "cue" him to the pitch. Now, he is NOT always perfect. There are videos on youtube where you can hear him not being perfect. Example: When he performed STRANGER in China recently he was not in good health; he was having serious sinus problems for which he has already had previous surgeries, AND They made him wait till VERY late at night, at the end of the day to perform and he did not sing it as well as he did here. Also, his London concert, again he was ill with fever, but because people flew in from all over the world for this one night concert, he went on stage anyway and he clearly was having vocal trouble!!!! So under normal conditions, yes, he is generally perfect and it is LIVE AND REAL!!! But he is human and if conditions are not right, he will not sound perfect!!

His longest run is 24 seconds sinful passion. He does swim for breath control. He has this voice due to three main reasons, Genetics, His mother was a famous Khazack opera singer his father a singer and instrumentalist, he was pitch perfect as a toddler 4-5 years old, he started formal training at the age of 5 years old now finishing his PhD in music with focus on vocals, so much hard work, and last and Probably very significant, his vocal folds are abnormally long compared to normal people. I guess we can toss in a fourth with the fact he really loves music and is a perfectionist in that area.

Two things. In SOS when his voice sounded like the word he sang that’s called word painting when Dimash wants you to feel emotion of a part of the song, that’s emoting. I saw a video his grand Parent put out. Baby Dimash is sitting on the floor with the ancient khazak instrument the dombra on his lap and his fingers are messing with the eyes. Dimash plays 8 instrument and is a master on the Dobra wikipedia has his career as starting at the age of 2yrs old. His parents led hi to the stage and then he did it, but got side tracked and went running around the stage and hs parents had to run him down. So that voice on stage is not a pop singer starting ther career. His voice has over 22 yrs in the music business. He is in his doctorate having completed 2 masters by time he sang sos at 22 yrs old on the China show I am a singer. But stranger was one of 3 songs that he and Igor presented at new wave in Russia besides them calling him back from winning their singing contest to judge the singing contest at new wave. If you still want to read more on your own his bio on Wikipedia, but their octave range is wrong at 6 octaves it is 7,7. Which you can tell that stranger is more than 6 octaves in one song. Dimash is an adult prodigy that is constantly creating and inventing. He will always surprise.

I forgot to tell you a month ago Dimash did a Japanese song Ikanaide for his 13th language. A few days ago I wet blacktop wikipedia and his languages he sings are 15 languages ina matter of days.

Great reaction! Yes, I would say Dimash is very driven. And he has always been passionate about music from his earliest years. His family tells that when he was about 2 or 3 years old he would collect all the cassette tapes in the house and put them in a box or something and take them to bed with him and if anyone tried to take them away he would put up a big fuss! And he has said that when he was little and other boys were drawing pictures of cars and trucks, he was drawing musical instruments and the electronics that go with them and himself singing on stage! He is amazing at how long he can hold a note, but he does get out of breath. If you watch you will notice that at the end of a long note he always ends it with his mouth open. I think he just knows how to breath in deeply and quietly. If you watch "Diva Dance" from his Bastau concert you will see at the end that he is catching his breath. You should see how many bouquets he got after his first guest performance at the Slavic Bazaar (Belarus) in 2021, where he was a judge. He won this competition in 2015 which set him well on the road to worldwide stardom! They don’t give standing ovations in that part of the world but he always gets lots of flowers which afterwards he donates to old peoples homes, nursing homes and hospitals.
