I just received a Harley advertising flier in the mail today with all the models for 2024 in it. All the new Street Glides and the Road Glides will be coming with the new fairing, tanks, and sattle bags that are on the CVO's. Also, the same large screen display and radio as the CVO's. Also, the 117 engines with variable value timing. It shows the Road King, Road Glide Limited and Ultra Limited coming with the old fairing, radio, gages, tanks, sattle bags and the 114 motor as last year models.

Last new bike? Maybe not. At 70, I’m looking at a SG. It’s way heavier than the touring models were when I was your age, but, I can still pick up my RK when laid on its side.

Harley's official website shows, 3 touring models for 2024. A Road Kind Special, a Road Glide Limited and an Ultra limited. They all come with the same sattel bags and fairing from last year. Same gas tank. Also, no hydraulic clutch. Also, they come with the 114 CI motor. Also, they all come with flat black exhaust pipes and no chrome pack on the motor. The gages are still there also.

Looks like if I want a straight forward touring HD with a 114, I'm going to have to order a police/fire Road King to have normal bags, guards, and windscreen. Being an engineer, I don't like all the extra electrical stuff or the VVT, more complicated, more expensive, and just more stuff to fail.

Man, that sucks for people who paid 50k for the new fairing thats going to be available on the HD Specials. Well, at least you still have the CVO engine and suspension to brag about.

I don’t mind the looks of the new ferring. But I do prefer a nostalgic look of Harley over modern. I’f it’s true about the ST models I’m really really glad I bought my new 2023 Roadglide-ST last year.

I've seen pics of CVO-ST's and CVO-Pan America's, but only the CVO themselves are getting the VVT. RG and SG are getting a bump to 117. We shall see soon!

Hello?? Harley has already had to throw a recall on the CVO street Glide faring because it is unstable at hight speeds. Epic Fail.

I've got a 16 SG & while I'd really love to upgrade to a RG , at 57 yrs old gonna be , I think my SG will be my last new HD I ever purchase. Offspring is another woke POS band as I'm pretty sure Cypress Hill is too , so the HD agenda is pretty clear as far as I'm concerned.
