I think that most people don't take a minute to actually take into account how much effort it must have taken her just to continue creating this album and then publishing it when so many of these songs are things that she would've shown Cory and listened to his feedback on. I saw a comment below that said 'Lea is a warrior' and I think that's exactly the way to put it; she is fighting against the pure heartbreak she has to contend with. I know from someone close to me a nasty break up after a long term relationship can damage you terribly even for months afterwards, but to be preparing for marriage only for him to die in such a tragic way, and yet for her only months later to release her empowering song 'Cannonball' - it doesn't matter whether you like it or not; she deserves respect for the fact that despite everything she is putting forth songs about being positive and getting past this pain. If that doesn't warrant her admiration and respect then something is seriously wrong here. I'm not a massive Gleek, having only ever watched 2 or 3 episodes (and the Cory Monteith tribute episode, of course) but I have always liked Lea and this song is absolutely beautiful. Well done, Lea. Keep fighting. Those with half a heart will support you.

I'm 60 years old and discovered this incredible song for the first time when I heard it on the car radio today. Inspiring and heartfelt.

Lea this is a beautiful song. Every time I hear this song, I burst into tears. I'm fighting with you, Lea. It is showing me that I needed to heal and walkway from that toxic relationship. Also empowering me to heal for those who trespass against us. My first boyfriend was mentally abusive and physically abusive to me. I held on hoping he would change, but he never did. So I walked away from him, by running for my life. I broke all communication with him. Suffered from depression, and anxiety. I went to therapy for years after that relationship. But, I still accomplish my dreams. Even though he told me I wouldn't be anything without him. I went to college, made new friends, got on the dance team, and Colorguard team. Speeding up to me becoming a nurse. I found this song and pushed through any depression I face. Lea good work on this song. Anyone facing abuse in a relationship please walk.

I've no idea who she is, but this song is so beautiful. It does remind me of Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts" in that it's a power ballad with similar chords, but then just opens up and is like, "WAO." Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to iTunes to get this song.
