She is a throwback to real gospel. At times when she's shouting and doing her staggered runs in full chest belt she's like Aretha Franklin, Shirley Ceaser and Rev CL Franklin all in one. She's very musical and very instinctive. Most of the others I can't listen to - but Leandria is special.

You keep that beautiful head up sis. My sister passed away in Nov. 2020, at the age of 42. She was diagnosed with lupus in her early 20s and you know what? She did not pass from lupus complications at all. It was from another, acute illness unfortunately. Over the years we REPEATEDLY rebuked that illness from her body and she lived damn well in that lovely vessel while she was here. I wanted more time, but when the Father says come child…nothing in this world can change that call. You live, and you live WELL while you are here my dear, I am praying for you for there’s nothing to hard for God. Your comment caught my eye.

That's the difference between someone who can sing and someone who's anointed. She really set the mood at 7:09 when she said it's a celebration. It's easier said than done but in a room where people are weeping you still have to remind them that God is still good and that they are celebrating the life of a loved one. Even when they part ways and are not on this side It's still a celebration and we should give God thanks for the time he's allowed to be with our loved ones. Celebrate those 32years and give God praise.

@Darius Wyatt, all I can say is in my youth I would sing secular music. At age 38, I only want to sing Gospel songs. When I do, I singing to God, a mighty thank you for bringing me through. I cry, I smile, I praise Him with all I have within me. While singing, I’m not putting on a show, I am giving God praise.
