Powerful voice! She has so much talent and a beautiful voice. Her range is incredible and she sings with such conviction and confidence. Yes she is definitely under appreciated! She never had a writer . A writer of song keeping up with the times and putting those thoughts on paper,...it's obvious she couldn't do it . But she does have voice. I listened to her sing on video with joss stone and Leann was just to good . Made joss stone look like a new comer . I would've liked to written for her her meaning Leann .

For you younger fans, she's basically retired. She started singing when she was 14. Shot up the charts. She was compared to Patsy Cline. I think she sounds better than Patsy

Now that's the correct word. Under appreciated. The emotional and mental anguish this gorgeous lady went through was SOOO freaking wrong. I'm sooo happy she's getting "rediscovered" by those who stopped following her or hadn't heard her currently. I honestly think that with where she's at in her life, she's an even better singer now than she was at 14. If that's possible. I love her🌹💖💝

Almost acapella. With only a single instrument to accompany LeeAnn she takes a lot of risk. You can't hide behind a band or an orchestra to cover your mistakes or slips. This is a true professional.

I was very impressed with this. This is my wedding song and of course I used the Bobby Hatfield version. She truly does have an amazing voice. I don't feel she received the acclaim for her voice that she deserves. Singing like this as you said with only a single instrument shows how amazing her own voice is. Today so much is about technology added, the clothes, look, not the voice. Very impressed with her. Obviously I love this song!

Just saw this on a feed... wow.. They played this song over a loud speaker in Coronado,Ca in 2011 when the ship pulled into port bringing home all of our loved ones from a tour overseas in the middle east. The ship was lined on every deck and every window with beautiful young patriots. Our sons, daughter,moms,dads, husbands and wives. As we all stood on the dock waving and crying and searching for the face of our loved one... this song played. It was the Righteous Bros version... I will remember it as long as I live . I am 72 and its still one of the most powerful moments of my life. LeeAnn , this brought tears to my eyes. Unbelievable! Thank you.

That is a seasoned voice! Pain, shame, love, hate.etc. every emotion you feel as a human pushes her songs out. She is up there with some of the greatest singers of all times. In the business since 14 and it took the masked singer to bring her to light. Its very true what she said at the end about people really hearing her for the first time. But girl...... you are amazing. Not just a good singer but what a heart. I hope things just keep rising for you , you deserve it..!

Totally agree. Change of mind is possible. A dead heat with Elvis as far as this cover goes. She sings it more as a ballad more brilliantly than anybody else. Although I have not heard Nettles attempt it, she'd be hot on her heels. 😁👍

ok. I have heard many renditions to this song... everybody I listened to who has sung this song performed it beautifully, however this one for me tops them all. Her range, hitting those high notes and sustaining them just such a joy to watch and listen. LeAnn Rhimes is one of the best singers I have had the privilege to know.
