I had a great day out shooting this vid. I knew the Lynx would be great in the trails and had to drag it out to get a few scratches.
So glad I did. It really is a very good wheel with great suspension and is more than capable of trails.
Slightly larger but very even in weight makes for a good stable wheel in the trails.
The stand may get caught up easier but I had no hang ups today.
Both V14 and Lynx could do with some nicer pedals.
I would find it hard to compare the two wheels with only one roll into the trails with Lynx.
Both are zippy and both capable of plenty of torque. No dramas with either wheel. v14 is a little more easy to flick and maybe a little easier work. Lynx feels a little more stable and maybe a little more forgiving with the larger tyre to eat a few more bumps and keep you planted.
I’ll keep rolling on them both in the trails and give myself time to decide which I prefer.
I’ll make a few more videos so we can see how it all holds up.

Awesome video, but watching this in 1080p on my 65” TV was brutal. The quality is so bad due to KZfaq’s super low bitrate. If it’s possible, I’d highly recommend getting a newer 360° cam that can record in at least 4K. Would look 10x better and make your videos feel much higher quality (and more enjoyable to watch!) too. Keep it up with the V14 content, I get mine next month!

hey yea I get it and agree watching on my bigger tv was rough :) not sure what happened, first roll so I’ll check things over. I was sure I set bitrate to high and set 8k I thought but I’ll double check the footage. I do hate that part about the 360s quality is always a little rough and it’s frustrating. Yeah, I still have not bought my second wheel yet for off roading. I have settled on the lynx cause I am used to big wheels now, thanks to my V13. I was going to go with the V14 but looking on the FB page I see getting one without issues is hit or miss, just like with the V12HT which is not having a good year either. It seems these issues with InMotion wheels have crept up more when the old CEO was let go. Same people have been having issues with getting support to. So, I began looking more at the Lynx now. Nice seeing you still rolling too.

Hi Quick, good to see you also. Glad you are at that second wheel stage, I loved having a second to switch up the feels. I have only experienced good things from IM but I do float on the forums and see the issues you mean. I only had the early firmware issue on V14. My Lynx has been trouble free. It was nice to add another brand to the range for me as It threw me a little out of my comfort. No regrets at all with Lynx or V14 for me.

Hey Bob thanks for watching. I’m not aware of those pads but I agree a good set of pads makes a big difference.

@@eucaus They are much bigger so they fit your feet better and they are perfectly squishy so they have some softness to them but also firm enough when you lift up on them. And the rail that attaches to the EUC is long enough that if you lower your pedals with the lowering kit they still fit perfectly with a wide range of shoes or boots. Thanks for your great videos!

What kind of export settings did you use? If you used the Insta360 X4, it should have much better image quality than this. This looks like the low resolution preview file.

I stuffed my flow up this vid and exported small clips in the wrong codec then each time I reimported the small clips and exported them again to build the final it pushed the quality down. My bad 😞 I corrected it for my next vid which also used the X4. should be better moving forward.

For me, first things first, take that crappy kickstand off! It has reached out and bruised me on minor Falls and it catches when going off drops at low speed. I also lowered the pedals and have had zero issues off Roading.

Yea the stand does hang a heap off the back, stairs are also a worry. I like the convenience but I may remove it.
