Welcome to our video on the history of Trillium Brewery, one of the most celebrated craft breweries in the United States.
Founded in 2013 by husband and wife team JC and Esther Tetreault, Trillium Brewery began as a small operation in their backyard in Boston, Massachusetts. JC, a former home brewer, and Esther, a marketing expert, had a shared passion for brewing high-quality craft beer that could stand out in a crowded market.
Their initial focus was on brewing hoppy American-style ales, but they soon expanded to include farmhouse-style saisons, stouts, and sour beers. Their commitment to using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, as well as their innovative approach to brewing techniques, quickly garnered them a devoted following among beer enthusiasts in Boston and beyond.
In 2015, Trillium Brewery opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Fort Point, Boston. This allowed them to expand their production and distribution, and they began distributing their beer to bars and restaurants throughout the city.
Their success continued to grow, and in 2017 they opened a second location in Canton, Massachusetts. This location features a larger brewery, a taproom, and a restaurant, allowing fans of Trillium to enjoy their beer on site.
Trillium Brewery's commitment to quality and innovation has earned them numerous accolades, including being named one of the top 100 breweries in the world by RateBeer. Today, they continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in craft beer, experimenting with new ingredients and brewing techniques to create some of the most sought-after beers in the industry.
