I think, I want to improve my language but I have a no time and money, but now I feel happy because I found my new way to learn English through youtube channel. I am going to allocate 1 hour each day for my learning and thankyou Ma'am for giving me the opportunity.

Rules for 12 tenses: Present Tense: S+V1+O or S+V1s,es(when S he,she,it)+O Ex Situations: It is a Statement. Habitual actions. Timing:Past, present and future. (கடந்த காலத்திலும், நிகழ்காலத்திலும், எதிர்காலத்திலும் தொடர்ந்து (நடக்கும்) நடந்த, நடக்கிற, நடக்கப்போகிற, சில மாறத செயல்கலை (பழக்க வழக்கங்கலை) சொல்ல பயண்படும்) Past tense: S+V2+O Easy of all tense. The action should be completed before we talk about it. Timing: not obvious.(கடந்த காலத்தில் நடந்து முடிந்த செயல், குறிபிட்ட செயல் கடந்த காலத்தில் சரியாக எந்த நேரத்தில் நடந்து முடிந்தது என்று) பயண்படும் Future Tense: S+Will+V1+O Future Action Timing: The action will happen in the future Present Continuous: S+am, is, are+V1ing+O Timing: started little early and continuing now will end sometime in future but exact times not obvious. Talking about action related to a person, a family, an institution, a society. (எந்த நேரத்தில் துவங்கியது என்றும், எந்த நேரத்தில் முடியும் என்றும் தெரியது ஆனால் குறிப்பிட்ட செயல் இப்பொழுது நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது என்பதை சொல்ல பயண்படும்) Past Continuous: S+Was,Were,+V1ing+O Timing: comparing two action which happened in the past. While one happened which action was happening already.(கடந்த காலத்தில் ஒரு செயல் நடந்து போது வேறு எந்த ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட செயல் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்த்து என்று சொல்ல பயண்படும்) Future Continuous: S+Will be+V1ing+O Modern English uses will, will be, the usage of shall is insignificant. Timing: what will be happening in the future.(எதிர்காலத்தில் என்ன செயல் நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கிம் என யூகித்து சொல்ல பயண்படும்) Present Perfect (vs past tense) S+have, has(he,she,it)+V3(past participle)+O All Perfect tense uses V3 verbs. Timing: when the past time is not obvious or without mentioning the the exact day, year, month, time we have to use present perfect.(குறிபிட்ட செயல் சரியாக சமீபத்தில் எந்த நேரத்தில் நடந்து முடிந்தது என்று சொல்லமுடியத போது பயண்படும்) If you want timing then we got to use Past tense. Past perfect: S+had+V3+O It is about two actions which happened in the past. Past perfect is for the action which happened first. (குறிப்பிட்ட செயல் கடந்தகாலத்தில் நடப்பதற்கு முன்பு நடந்து முடிந்த செயலை சொல்ல பயண்படும்) Future Perfect: S+will have+V3+O Timing: it is about guessing an action what will happen before some action to be done in future(ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட செயல் எதிர்காலத்தில் நடக்கும் போது மற்றும் ஒரு செயல் நடக்கிம் என யூகித்து சொல்ல பயண்படும்) Present perfect continuous: S+have been, has been +V1ing+O Timing: It is to mention the timing from when the action started and continuing till now. (குறிபிட்ட காலமாக மாறாமல் நடந்துவரும் செயல்) Past perfect continuous: S+had been+V1ing+O Timing: to mention with an obvious time, an action happening before certain action happened in the past(கடந்த காலத்தில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட செயல் நிகழும் போது வேறு ஒரு செயல் நிகழ்ந்துகொண்டிருந்தை சொல்ல பயத்படும்) Future Perfect Continuous S+will have bee +V1ing+O Guessing what action will be happening in the future before some action will happen(எதிர்காலத்மில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட செயல் நிகழும்போது வேறு ஒரு செயல் நிகழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கும் என்று யூகித்து சொல்லப்படும்போது)

Hi Malar, my name is Vasanth. I stay in Kerala. l was just watching your video on Tenses. In this you were telling that there are 12 tenses. Tenses means the time in which we do something or something happens. So if we speak about time (in tamil we say KALAM) It is mainly 3. Past, Present and Future. And all the others are parts of them or they belong to their respective families, aren't they? So, what I understood is that, when it comes to tenses, there can be only 3 and their family consists of other 9 members, totally put together we say 12 divisions of tenses. This is my understanding. Please correct me if I am wrong.

simple present tense- தினமும் நான் காபி குடிககிரேன். simple past tense- நான் காபி குடித்தேன். Simple future tense நான் காபி குடிப்பேன். present continuous tense நான் காபி குடித்து கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். Past continuous tense நான் காபி குடித்து கொண்டிருந்தேன். future continuous tense நான் காபி குடித்து கொண்டிருப்பேன் Present perfect tense நான் காபி குடித்து இருக்கிறேன். past perfect tense நான் காபி குடித்து இருந்தேன். future perfect tense நான் காபி குடித்து இருப்பேன். present perfect continuous நான் காபி குடித்து கொண்டே ..இருக்கிறேன். Basically tense is classified into three . Each one has four forms.. Totally twelve forms. The time of action is depend on when we speak.
