The biggest positive for 2023 RAV4 is multimedia display, multi-information display & apple car play I have cancelled 2022 RAV4 just before 1 week of its delivery on hearing about infotainment update, I feel worth of waiting now😊

We really like our 2022 Rav4 Hybrid Limited. So far we are averaging 41.7mpg at the pump over 11,000 miles.

How is the CVT transmission?

@@Bagel_Biscuit It replaces a 2015 Honda CR-V, so we are used to a CVT and it's working fine. The hybrid regen helps a lot in traffic, don't have to brake all the time to slow down. Accelerations are decent, great response time.

Hey Jeff, luv ur reviews...can you please explain safety sense 2.5 braking functionality in detail. if it includes auto braking like Honda CRV and other competitors..I know it has audio alert and braking on left turns...but would it stop automatically if required, going straight approaching a pedestrian or other obstacles and between what speeds? Thank you n God bless....from Canada

The way that I understand the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 as you have explained it, and I watched that part several times, that would have saved my wife from a serious car accident that she had in year 2000 where she was hit hard by the oncoming vehicle when she was turning left and that guy was going through the light late.

It's also on the Q4 RAV4. I ordered the RAV4 Prime with new infotainment system. But also the digital cluster. This reviewed RAV4 has not the digital cluster i see.

What's Q4 rav4? I also thought the 23 xse would have a digital cluster. Does it depend on the trim? I know I saw some 23 rav4 with the digital cluster

Another amazing banger from jeff and also love the screen cant we to see a digital drivers display I also did not hear the back up noise that are on hybrids did they remove that? It also looks like the trunk opens taller. Does the 2023 rav 4 LE have the new headlights

@ToyotaJeff Reviews there are many videos on youtube with RAV4 LE that has the new style lights like on XLE. Is this a change for 2023 models, because the 2022 LE has reflector type lights?

Jeff, Even with two plants building RAV4 Hybrids in North America, they still have to bring them in from Japan to keep up with demand.

If you get the XSE with advanced technology package, you get the heated steering wheel, 12.3” fully digital dash, parking sensors and lots of other extras

Can you make a video about toyoguard? It’s my understanding this was once optional but now with pandemic shortages it’s a forced option on all Toyotas if you are in one of a few states.

Beautiful looking vehicle Jeff. Do the mirrors also have heat to melt the snow and ice? It appears to only have blind spot monitoring.

Yes, the mirrors are heated and powered. I believe the heat function activates when you turn on your rear defrost.

I just picked up my 2023 XSE, and I do, indeed, have the kick activation to open the rear lift gate. The video says that is not offered. I have a higher package, so my dash looks and functions differently.

Do these still shut off when you open the door after remote starting them? I am looking to buy a new car and Toyota is off my list for; 1. Much More NVH than the competition, and 2. Remote start is a hassle. I would love to buy one for the reliability, but refuse to until both those things are fixed.

That car is almost identical to my Calvary blue 2023 xse hybrid. I noticed it is missing my heated steering wheel. If you look carefully at all the black paint, with the exception of the wheels, you'll notice a blue metal flake inside the black paint. I also noticed that the rear electric motor works when you first accelerate leaving a light giving you all wheel traction in eco mode. My real life fuel economy is between 43.5 and 44.3 miles to the gallon (same as my 2022 Rav4 xle hybrid). Both the front and rear electric motors are used for regenerative braking.

It has apple car play and android auto. You can use the "maps" apps of your phone as your navigation. It may have cloud based navigation built in that infotainment system, but it is probably subscription based like SiriusXM.

Is the high voltage MGR connector on the underside changed/fixed at all yet or still the same as the 2022s? Is it covered under the hybrid warranty yet? I don't want any part of one of these until the cablegate mess is resolved.

@@sixstab2967 it is the same connector however Toyota USA sent a message to dealers and it's now covered for 8 years 100,000 miles for the corrosion issues. So they didnt fix it but is covered now.

Hey Jeff, Isn't the ground clearance 8.6 not 8.1?. I've seen all over online that it's 8.6. It's important to state the correct information as gc is an extremely important factor when it comes to suvs.

The front edge of the hood of the bonnet not flushing in with the top of the front grill in Toyotas is a design failure in my mind and have been so for many years. The hood ending before it meets the grill and leaving that conspicuous break line across the front needs to be improved. Dunno who's design idea that has been but it always gets me. Not just Toyotas, some other brands have that feathure, too.

It’s ridiculously long long wait to get a RAV4 Hybrid, specially for sporty trim. So I’m in dilemma what to get for myself SE or XSE ❓❓❓🤔🤔🤔knowing XSE costs couple of grands💲more 💵…. But I wonder what opinions others have and which one to pick❓🚙🚘

Why doesn't Toyota add a joystick in the center (next to the gear shifter) to control that infortainment screen (like Lexus & BMW)? Makes it easier and safer to use while driving.

I went to dealership TOYOTA TUSTIN and did 1k downpayment for the hybrid Rav4 XSE white Fully Loaded .. and they said its gonna build this coming Jan 24 2023 then the car would be here around mid february or worst case end of february .. you think this is true ? There production is getting better and better now ? No more delays .. and my car will built from KENTUCKY “4” VIN #
