How to learn cardistry? What a beginner should start with? What are the easiest fancy flourishes to practice? How to shuffle cards like a hot shot professional? Hold on with the questions!

Back when we started, we'd have loved to have a beginner guide like this. In fact, this should have been the first tutorial video on our channel. Took us a decade. Epic.
With so many cardistry tutorials out there, it's really hard to figure out what to do first. Watch our video covering 5 basic beginner level tips till the end, who knows we may give away amazon gift card in there.

4:35 flourishes with one card - twirls, pirouettes and throws. Learn some here: • LEARN THROWING CARDS l...
4:55 one-handed cuts. Here's some basic flourishes we taught before: • 5 Basic One-Handed Cut... . Here's an example of an advanced one: • Pluto ● CARDISTRY TUTO...
5:39 two-handed cuts and advanced flourishes. We teach a lot of these. Check out the entire playlist: • CARDISTRY TUTORIALS
This tutorial works for magicians as well. If you plan auditioning for Penn and Teller or America's Got Talent shows, the last thing you'd want to happen is cards dropping in the middle of your card trick on live TV simply because you didn't learn how to hold or shuffle the deck properly. No joke, this happens more often than you think.

Can this be done with ordinary playing cards? I'm asking because my cards seem so stiff compared to yours, or is it just because yours have been handled so much?
@torchofice16
@torchofice16 4 жыл бұрын
There are different types of stock (thickness and material) of cards and each control differently! Your cards will relax and loosen the more you use them but sometimes it's nice to have different types of decks for different tricks and feels. Look into buying a deck from theory11 because they make some of the best beginner to intermediate cards that are only like $10!
@evilpompom
@evilpompom 4 жыл бұрын
@@torchofice16 Thank you so much! The only deck I had was one of those you play with that you can buy for a few dollars 😅 It didn't work very well 😆 I'm going to check this out! I'd love to learn this and now during quarantine, I finally have the time 😁

Try bicycle cards I find they move better and are affordable. A cheap deck of cards, the cards clump or stick together. Plus bicycle are used for magic tricks too.
@bklynfinest7

Yes you can use normal playing cards but its best to get the better quality one made by Bicycle. They have cards with air-cushion. Those cards dont stick or clump and paper stock is quality
