So you can definitely say "m'agrada / m'encanta el català", but it is true that "estic boig pel català" sounds somehow weird (although I would know what you mean). I think we would keep that expression for people and if you want to refer to an object / thing, you could say "el mango em torna boig" (mango drives me crazy - in a positive way). 😂😂 I know, "Boig per tu" sounds super 80's (funnily enough it is technically from 1990). It is the Catalan "love hymn" and for sure played in almost every Catalan wedding 😂

Hola Marcell! Thanks a lot for your comment and great question. I actually had to do some research myself, as I realised that there are -OR ending words when I pronounce the "r" (amor, honor, humor, favor...) and many others when I don't (calor, color, divulgador...). It seems to be a complex aspect with no clear rule/differentiation. The final -R is a pronounciation matter which is mostly kept in the area of Valencia. But in Barcelona, where I am from, a "mute" -R at the end of the word is more common, but obviously with exceptions. Moltíssimes gràcies i feliç diumenge de Pasqua :)
