The retention vanish is something I know how to do, but not confident that I can do it right. Learned years ago when I was mesmerized by Jay Sankey doing it in one of his many videos. I'm excited to put in time and learn from a great like yourself Doug.

@@DougConn my 4 year old loves it as much as I did when my grandpa did it 40 years ago. I think he did a French drop though. I just really wanted to see the professional way to do it. Thank you for taking the time to explain this. Love your retention vanish technique too!

I always feel like when I'm doing a coin vanishing trick, the person watching me is going to call me out on it. I guess it's because I know what's happening, so I feel like they're not buying it. I did it to a few co workers and they were like WTF? Do it again. I said I can't. I feel like they would catch me.

It’s rarely enough to just do one coin vanish… I’d recommend sequencing two or three together so you have a little routine & consider motivated movements after each vanish
