Very nice video❤️..... I also have same experience about how I improved my knowledge of English....Now I am a final year undergraduate at a government university... Before going to uni ,actually I couldn't even do a speech in front of a crowd.That's much I was unable to speak in English... But with the time, I personally met my english instructors and asked how to improve my spoken english ability... Then I used to go through thier advices and tried to speak alone in front of a mirror... Each and every day I didn't forget to practice eventhouth there were lots of grammatical mistakes.. But I didn't care and read lots of english news papers, watched english movies ,listened to english songs etc. Trust me! really I could be able to improve my knowledge of english. I know still I am not fluent in English....But now I am very proud of my self because I could stand up alone for fighting with english language... Now I have the capable of handling even interviews at my university... Eventually I would like to advise all don't give up your efforts whatever situation you face....Definitely you will get the final outcome successfully even if it's not perfect..... 😍😍😍

Very well said. You have to speak even if it isn’t perfect. That’s how you get rid of shyness and get used to it. And also I think watching English movies with English subtitles helps a lot. Great video hun👍 love the way you explain ❤️😘

Parents ( I'am ever so grateful to my parents ) can only guide you , finance you and encourage but its an individuals enthusiasm that drives towards achieving this goal. You've done great prep work for the video with the proper insights as well as blending your experience !!! I can guess this tuition class you've mentioned , reminds me of one of my friends ; was carrying the Lyrics of 'Common People' by - Paul Young , who used to attend this class few decades back , he also got his foundation from this place and the teacher (whos now migrated and doing well .... memories )

Great content hun ❤️ These ⬇️ were few of the things I asked my students to practise when I worked as a government English teacher back then * Watching movies with subtitles is an interesting way of improving English (watch speaker’s mouth while listening too) * Reading a paragraph,recording it & listening to your voice & pronunciation * listening to English FM Radio * Reading English Newspapers and grabbing new words ( atleast 5 a day) * Referring DICTIONARY ALWAYS to check pronunciation and meaning of words ( either dictionary apps or physical dictionary) Hope these help too 🥰❤️

I was fluent in English once upon a time. I didn't even make a single mistake when im speaking. I used to think in English, speak in english, write in english. And I was proud about myself that i could make a good speech infront of a crowd fearleslly. At that time i was studying english literature. Then I stopped learning & using english in day to day life, because i changed my school for my ALs and I selected Sinhala medium. and There was no english environment around me. I didn't use English for 3 years. Then now i have no confidence to speaking in english and now i make lots of mistakes even when i m writing. 😓

And also I read some books, magazines and some paragraphs from Google daily. It helps me to improve my reading ability. One more tip I got from my English teacher was to read the editorial and going through the dictionary and find the meaning of difficult words and keep using those.
