Your teaching method can be considered from several perspectives, for example "related sounds". I take into account how words connect and how two sounds merge and one sound fades into another to maintain the natural flow of speaking. Repetition and reflection on how to pronounce the words in a natural context through the movie slowly and then with a normal speed gives the mind of the language learner a chance to recreate it in a better way (fluency). Well done.

thanks. it's a good idea for a channel. But if you ask me it would be great to see explanation for every phrase. Why did they use it. what did they mean by it. or dividing your video into topics like 1) saying hello, 2) going out with smb.

30-39 Sure, let's break it down: 1. **Calm down:** It means to relax and not be upset or worried. For example, when someone tells you to calm down, it's like asking you to take a deep breath and feel better. Imagine you're feeling scared because of a thunderstorm, and your mom tells you, "Calm down, it's just a little rain." 2. **Split up:** It means to separate from someone you were together with, like breaking up with a boyfriend or girlfriend. For instance, if your best friend tells you they split up with their partner, it means they are not together anymore, like when two puzzle pieces are taken apart. 3. **Do something for me:** It means asking someone to help you with a task or favor. For example, if your teacher says, "Can you do something for me and pass these papers out to the class?" it means they want you to help them by giving papers to everyone. 4. **Stood up:** It means when someone doesn't show up for a planned meeting or date. Imagine you're waiting at the park for your friend, but they never come. That's being stood up. 5. **Personal issues:** These are problems or concerns that someone doesn't want to share with everyone. For example, if your friend says they can't play because of personal issues, it means they have something going on that they don't want to talk about, like feeling sad or worried about something. 6. **Terrible feeling about this:** It means having a strong sense that something bad might happen. For instance, if you're about to go on a scary ride at an amusement park and you say, "I have a terrible feeling about this," it means you're really afraid something bad might happen. 7. **Back together:** It means getting back into a relationship with someone after breaking up. Imagine two pieces of a broken toy getting put back together again. For example, if your older sister says she and her boyfriend are back together, it means they decided to give their relationship another try. 8. **Don't think I have to tell you:** It means someone thinks you already know something, so they don't feel the need to explain it. For example, if your friend says, "I don't think I have to tell you, but tomorrow is your birthday," it means they believe you already knew about it. 9. **Ages:** It means a long time, like a lot of days, weeks, or even months. For instance, if your friend says, "I haven't seen you in ages," it means it's been a really long time since you last hung out together. 10. **Hard on you:** It means being tough or strict with someone. For example, if your coach says, "I know I've been hard on you, but it's because I want you to improve," it means they've been pushing you to do your best, even if it's been challenging. Of course, here are the translations with explanations in Chinese: 1. **Calm down (冷静下来):** 就是放松下来,不要生气或担心。比如,如果有人让你冷静下来,就像是让你深呼吸,感觉好些。想象一下,你因为雷雨而感到害怕,妈妈告诉你:“冷静下来,只是一点点雨。” 2. **Split up (分手):** 就是与你原来在一起的人分开,比如和男朋友或女朋友分手。例如,如果你最好的朋友告诉你他们分手了,就意味着他们不在一起了,就像两个拼图分开一样。 3. **Do something for me 6. **Terrible feeling about this (对此有不好的预感):** 意味着强烈感觉到可能会发生坏事。例如,如果你要去游乐园里的一个可怕的游乐项目,然后说:“我对此有不好的预感”,意思是你真的害怕可能会发生一些不好的事情。 7. **Back together (复合):** 就是在分手后又重新开始恋爱关系。想象两个打破的玩具被重新组合在一起。例如,如果你姐姐说她和她男朋友复合了,就意味着他们决定再给彼此一次机会。 8. **Don't think I have to tell you

21-29 Absolutely! Here's a breakdown of all the expressions you provided, explained as if you were my 10-year-old student, combining the definitions and examples: Expressions and Definitions: * I'm into you: This means you like someone in a more-than-friends way. Imagine having a cupcake you really enjoy. You might say, "I'm into cupcakes!" because you like the taste. If you say this to someone, it means you like them more than just a friend, like sprinkles on your cupcake! * Ask her out: This means inviting someone to do something together, like going to the movies or the park. If you see a cool new toy at the store, you might ask your mom or dad to buy it for you by saying, "Can I please ask you for this toy?" In the same way, you can ask someone out by saying, "Can I ask you to [insert activity] with me?" Make a note: You can use ask out for inviting a friend to play too! * We've been going out for months: This means you and someone else have been dating or spending time together romantically for a while. Imagine you've been taking care of a pet plant for a long time. You could say, "We've been growing together for months!" This means the plant has been alive for months thanks to your care. In the same way, if you've been dating someone for a long time, you can say, "We've been going out for months!" Note: Going out can also mean spending time with friends. * Need a ride home: This means you need someone to take you home because you can't get there by yourself. Imagine you're at the park playing with friends, but it starts to rain. You might call your mom or dad and say, "I need a ride home because of the rain!" In the same way, you can call someone for a ride by saying, "I need a ride home." * We just clicked: This means you instantly felt a connection with someone, like you get along really well right away. Imagine building a Lego castle. If the pieces fit together easily and quickly, you could say, "These Legos are clicking together perfectly!" In the same way, if you meet someone and feel like you understand each other right away, you can say, "We just clicked." * Got dumped: This means someone you were romantically involved with ended the relationship. Imagine a friend borrows your favorite toy car to play with. But then they decide they don't want to play with it anymore and give it back. You might feel sad because you don't get to play with it anymore. That's kind of like getting dumped. It means the other person decided they don't want to be in a relationship anymore. * I want you to have it: This means you want to give something to someone as a gift. Imagine you baked delicious cookies with your friend and there are a few extra left. You might say, "I want you to have the rest of these cookies!" In the same way, if you see something cool and want to give it to someone, you can say, "I want you to have it!" * Need to ask you a few questions: This means you have some things you'd like to know from someone. Imagine you're reading a mystery book and can't figure out who stole the treasure. You might ask your friend, "Need to ask you a few questions about the book!" In the same way, you can use this expression when you want to learn something from someone. * Yeah, I got dumped: This means someone you were romantically interested in ended the relationship. Imagine building a sandcastle at the beach with a friend. But then the tide comes in and washes it away. You might feel sad because all your hard work is gone. That's kind of like getting dumped. It means the other person decided they don't want to be in a relationship anymore.

1-10 Sure, I can help you with those expressions! Here's a breakdown of each one in a way that's easy to understand, with examples: * I've got to get back to work. This means you need to return to doing your job or other responsibilities. Imagine you're playing a game with a friend during recess, but the school bell rings. You might say, "I've got to get back to work" (meaning class) before you get in trouble. * That's what friends are for. This is a way of saying that friends help each other out. For example, if you're struggling to tie your shoelaces, your friend might say, "That's what friends are for!" and help you tie them. * I overreacted because I'm stressed out. This means you reacted to something in a bigger way than you normally would because you're feeling overwhelmed or tense. Imagine you get a bad grade on a test and snap at your friend when they ask how you did. You can later apologize by saying, "I overreacted because I'm stressed out about the test." * Come on, Claudia. We go way back. This is used to remind someone of your history or friendship as a reason to consider your request or forgive you for something. Let's say you accidentally bump into a classmate's drawing and it gets ruined. You might say, "Come on, Sarah, we go way back. I'll help you clean it up." I'll provide definitions and breakdowns for the remaining expressions in another message. Sure, here's the continuation of the expressions breakdown: * They are pretty close. This means two people have a good relationship and like spending time together. Imagine you see two friends always playing together at the park. You might say, "They are pretty close." * I'm done with you. This is a serious statement that means you're no longer friends with someone or you're no longer interested in talking to them. It's important to use this expression with caution as it can hurt someone's feelings. * Don't worry. I got your back. This means you'll support and help your friend if they need it. Imagine your friend trips and almost falls, but you catch them. You can say, "Don't worry, I got your back!" to show you were there for them. * You're playing hard to get. This is used when someone pretends to be uninterested in someone else even though they might actually like them. It's important to be genuine and communicate how you really feel instead of playing hard to get.
