After coming back to Korea, I got depression for so long, which means I almost give up everything even learning. I really loved English. English used to be my energy resource. Another awesome video! Regarding the use of word "swell" I remember this scene from the 1978 Superman movie where Lois asked Clark how he felt about his first day working at the Daily Planet. And Clark/Superman answered by using the word "swell". And Lois basically told him that it's outdated. Lois: "How'd you like your first day on the job?" Clark: "Frankly the hours were sort of longer than I expected, but on the whole, I mean meeting you and Jimmy and Mr. White - Gosh on the whole I'd say it's been SWELL." Lois: "SWELL?" (pause) "You know, Clark, there are very few people left in the world who feel comfortable saying that word." Clark: "What word?" Lois: "SWELL." Clark: "Really? It always sounded kind of natural." I thought that you could use that scene next time you teach the word swell. Also, when someone has/sports a six pack, you can also say that "his abs are chiselled, cut, shredded (to pieces), well-sculpted, or well-defined or abs of steel.. You could say that Bruce Lee's abs were chiselled. Regarding ginger aanother synonym is carrot-top. Another thing that I wanted to comment on is that I thought off the top of my head, another scene from the Top Gun movie, where the expression "figure out" is used. Here's the dialog from the Top Gun scene: Charlotte "Charlie" Blackwood (Kelly McGillis): And then I thought about it. I thought, you know, he's a smart guy. Why don't you just tell him why you've got him here?" Maverick (Tom Cruise): Well? Charlotte "Charlie" Blackwood (Kelly McGillis): It's the MiG. The MiG. You're the only pilot who's been up against a MiG. I'm trying for this big promotion. If I get it, I won't be here much longer. Maverick: Seems to me YOU'VE GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT. Charlotte "Charlie" Blackwood (Kelly McGillis): Yeah. Maverick (Tom Cruise) Except you did forget the wine. As always, you outdid yourlseves and I can't wait for the next video to come out!
