As in English, the early grades emphasized learning the alphabet, spelling a person's name, dates, introducing oneself. Simple sentences, practicing the number system, saying how old a person is. Where one lives. Already the sentences are too complicated for absolute beginners, where almost every word is unknown. Start at about a 1st grade level.

I disagree with the comment. In my opinion, this lesson is correctly placed at the A1-A2 level, especially since both the French text and the English translations are shown on the screen and the transcript is also provided. Thank you for making this video!
