8:00 i used to do the reish like rabbi sanders, but after studying carefully, it is clear that the reish is from the teeth, and taking a few things into account, ironically the english and american r is the most precise way of pronouncing the reish. The reish Rabbi Sanders is using is very common for israelis as in modern hebrew the reish is gutteral (back of the throat) and unfortunately this has spilled over to their torah reading as well, but i must say it does sound much more expressive which if you know about the concept of the letter reish fits very well. Even in the weak english r reish you can hear a dynamic sound just not as pronounced. While i am here, i was hoping someone could direct me to an organisation or rabbi to guide me in helping a couple of non-jews who regular comment of my lectures who have serious doubts about chrstianity, but have no access to any jews where they are (one is in indiana). I tried the tanach talk website but it was more like a webpage than a site and didnt have too much information for my situation. So any help would be a great kindness, thanks!

@marcuswynn1448 * Matthew is not from the Q source but patterned after Mark. Did you know that Yeshua "Jesus" was never called Immanuel? [Isaiah 7:14.] The "New Testament" is not Holy Scriptures [Tanaach]. The verse Isaiah 7:14 is taken out of context and is talking about someone who lives in or near his lifetime. (These two verses are not referring to the same person.) Be careful when studying the Holy Scriptures [Tanaach] not to take verses out of context or read into them a concept or meaning that honestly isn't there.

Could you kindly point out where in the NT your Yeshua is called Emmanuel? Didn't the angel, according to the storyline, tell Mary to name him Yeshua? In Isaiah 7:14, the original text says that the mother will call the child Emmanuel וְקָרָאת שְׁמוֹ עִמָּנוּ אֵל. In your NT, Mt. 1:23 says, "They shall call his name Emmanuel." What's up with that? Please enlighten us.

Only the Most High is G.d. When you are ready to read what is written in TaNaK, you will see where the jesus of the christians is a badly cobbled composite of many ideas in Judaism. Drop the idolatry of a human, demi god, son, father, holy ghost, what have you and love, fear and obey only the Most High. Not any of His creatures.
