Greetings Mark. I just wanted to see how everything is going. I do hope all is well with you and your family. As always, incredible works and presentations. Hang in there my friend, and keep the channel going. You always have very informative content which we all appreciate. I can only speak for myself, but you have inspired me to strive to be more dedicated to my art. Not only with utilizing oil paints, but to pursue increasing my skills working with the airbrush. As you always say, there is more than one way to apply medium to a substrate. Take care and all the best!! 🍻Cheers!

Hi Robin! Thanks for this my friend. Very nice of you to ask- all is well. Hanging in there! How's everything with you? Paintings coming along alright?! Exactly right, the medium is second to whatever it is your trying to create/paint. At least that's the way I see it. Really appreciate the kinds words and all of your support to this small channel.

do you have a tutorial strictly for eyebrows? ❤
@theartworkshop
@theartworkshop Ай бұрын
Hey Jasmine- unfortunately I don't, but I go over the techniques I use for eyebrows in most of my portrait videos on here. Generally I go for a drawing approach using colored pencils for dark hairs, xacto blade for removing paint for highlights, and the airbrush to glaze color over the top. Hope this helps!

Okay hello Mark this is what is going on. I use Cobalt blue, Cerulean blue. But it don’t look like the blue eye that Caucasian people have. That’s why I need for you to have a page. Where I can send you my airbrushing work. And you can tell me what I’m doing wrong. How do I get that blue eyes color. And maybe you can do a tutorial on pretty blue eyes please. Or just tell me what to mix to get that color!!!🎣🎣🎣
@theartworkshop
@theartworkshop 11 ай бұрын
member's video coming up this wednesday on showing artwork! But for now, a lot of times blue is more like a teal or a blue/green. Try mixing a few drops of yellow into your blue, like 5 drops cobalt blue with 1-3 drops of yellow. But in many cases blue in eye color is more desaturated, where it looks more like a grey than a blue. But above this, what is very important is the values (how dark and light) things in the iris are. Use that eraser to really pull out those light areas!! Let me know if any of this works for you. Very good that you are seeing a difference in your colors- observation is getting better!!!
