عاد/ يعود does mean to come back but with However in the construction لم يَعُدْ it takes the meaning of no longer 🙂🙂

Thanks for your videos. Sometimes there are mistakes in your arabic writings which can confuse viewers. For example here you have written (لم تعدْ ليديهِم الشقّة ). However ليديهِم is incorrect, its correct form is لديهِم . Please try to be perfect!

Why are you so aggressive with your pronunciations? Especially with حرف العين. I feel like you were struggling with the ع when you were learning Arabic.

I think it's not aggressiveness but probably a question of regional influence. My brother-in-law is Tunisian and he pronounces the ' ع ' also very strong...He might be from the Maghreb regionز
