I just wanna say that this is the most wonderful channel about learning spanish I've ever seen. I'm russian, and we have no good channels about spanish. U know, I had no motivation to learn new language, because studying just with a book is boring. And that is why I decided to look for an interesting channel on english-speaking youtube. Hola! Me llamo Catherine. Soy Filipino. These numbers are part of our daily lives, we use them in our daily conversation. :) As Philippines were once a colony of Spain for 333 years, we have countless of Spanish words that are still used up to now and now that I decided to learn Spanish, it was very surprising to know that most of the Tagalog translations I know are not really Tagalog but Spanish. :) Muchas gracias for all the lessons, Anna. accidentally found this. we had an experimental class in chula vista (late 1950s); as many jewish awaiting permanent visas were living in tijuana, working in san diego (etc) their kids all went to our schools. brilliant person in government: lets have mornings in english, afternoons in spanish, and hebrew when needed. i'm 70 and can still count to 1000 in spanish. i can still curse in hebrew and russian. this was an absolutely delightful Find on your channel. thank you so much for memories.

Miren muchachos si fuesen eruditos en el idioma Castellano le escucho pero como no lo son sus comentarios son absurdos, pienso que Ana es su conocimiento del espanol esta tratando de ensenar lo mejor que pueda nuestro idioma no esta tratando de ensenar la pronuncia de Espana or en Mexico se habla asi or en Peru etc, dejenla que haga su trabajo esparciendo nuestro idioma. Ana te felicito por tu trabajo, algunos errores pero uno es humano nunca aprenderemos nuestro idioma el 100% salvo que seamos eruditos de nuestra lengua y allamos estudiado por anos con investigaciones etc, pero la manera de comportarte insultando y despreciando a SerCrash no es dable de perder el tiempo, sigue trabajando y exitos!

i am Sesenta y Dos and for my first time going abroad i am going to Spain this year. There are slight differences like "sais" for 6 and "bente" for 20. The diphthong "ei" used in Spanish were changed in Filipino.

I really enjoyed the way you were teaching. It's very clear for beginners. It's funny to read people argue over "standard Spanish." In my opinion, there is no correct way to speak a language. The function of the language is for people to communicate ideas, isn't it. English is my second language. We were taught American English in school and it didn't stop me communicating with the British or Australians. It may be confusing when you first encounter different accents, but you can pick up the differences easily. The French thinks Swiss French and Canadian French funny, but they can still talk with each other. Austrian German and Swiss German sound different from German spoken in Germany, but they understand each other. There are also various accents and dialects in one country. How can you say which should be standard? The world is interesting because of diversity, so please stop being a wanker that tells people how they should speak.

+Malien Cheng I agree, however it is also true that diversities can be so extreme that there is no common area to communicate. In USA the accent, dialect if you will, and grammar is so different in rural Alabama or Mississippi that a New Yorker, or Chicagoan would not understand 50%.. Television news broadcasts at 6:00 PM Network English was "standard American". In conclusion Wa sup? and lol. :-)

When you got to 20 Veinte and you repeated Veinte 4 times in a row quickly, it stuck in my head, i then did the same with thirty, forty etc. your slow easy explanations are so easy to keep us focused, Excelente!
