Masculine nouns are used with articles like el or un and have adjectives that end in -o, while female nouns use the articles la or una and have adjectives that end in -a. To know if a noun is masculine or feminine, you should look to see what letter(s) the word ends with

yes but some words get mixed up because the difference is the r but over all yes. dont mind me im just a random person answering peoples questions lol

i watched another vid and they said orange-anaranharbo so thats what ive been learning but you said orange-naraja so i went on google translate and you were correct so im just wondering why they said anaranharbo

anaranjado for the color and naranja for the fruit but a lot of people use naranja for the color too.
