how did you sublimate both sides of the keychain with one sheet of image paper? I didn't see you load the other side at all.

Thanks so much for the video! Did you wait until they were all the way cooled before doing the back? I thought putting it back in after you already have one side would make the ink on the other side turn back to a gas? Can you explain how to do it? Yours turned out so nice!

Yes, let the first side cool first and then sublimate the second side. The first side will be ok. Be sure to use parchment paper underneath and on top of your keychain. Thanks for watching.

I just got the Ecotank 3850, and was wondering about paper size… Are you using 8 1/2 x 11 paper to get 12 rectangular keychains? This is what I’m pondering… Could I make more keychains at a time if I used 8 1/2 x 14, and cut an inch off? But then I’d be throwing away money, wouldn’t I? So I need about 1/2 inch between them? Great video! Very helpful for me just starting out! 👍 I’m so nervous that I’m gonna screw up! Lol

Yes you can use 8 1/2 x 14 in your printer. You need to leave some space in between so you can tape them also the design needs to be a little bigger than your keychain so you don't get any borders on your keychain from the design being too small. We all screwed up when we first started. I still screw up every now and then! LOL Thanks for watching!

Do I need a sublimation printer ? I have a inkjet cannon but I didn't realize i bought sublimation key chains , tumblers etc. My 1st time for everything & I literally messed up 6 pages 2 key chains & im getting discouraged 😞. Any advice help please, thank you in advance

It needs to be a Epson printer. Preferably an EcoTank Printer and you add sublimation ink instead of the ink that comes with comes with the printer. You can use Hiipoo, Printers Jack, Cosmos, Cyclone sublimation ink. They are pretty much all the same. You can get Hiipoo and Printers jack from Amazon.

when he swung the press around the temp was 360 not sure if he meant to say to set the temp at 360 instead of 370 for 60 seconds?

The heat press was had already heated to 370 and was heating back up again

I watched the video in hopes that you would show how to do the 2nd side. 😢 I haven’t found a video o that shows this at all. Is it hard to do - are you mirroring the images for the 2nd side and they will come out the correct way? I’m so confused - with this part. Outside of not showing the 2nd side, this was a great video.

I'm new to sublimation. I have tried different ways on sublimating key chains and CAN NOT get it to work! I'm hoping this way helps. Anyone else have/had this problem!? Any suggestions?!

Make sure you peel off that plastic film on both sides. You can't see it but it is there! Thanks for watching.
