I'm sort of confused about you. Somewhere I heard that you are dislectic or some other illness which impacts on your interactions with people. THEN HERE YOU COME AND DELIVER THE MOST PERFECT PRESENTATION ON A HOW-TO of a design software that others can use but not explain properly. Thank you for this specific video that you did for us. It is not possible for any other person to do it for "their" program of choice. I'm trying to give you REAL PRAISE 👏🏻 🙌🏻 🏆

Well thank you. I am dialectic and super impose stuff but when it comes to making videos I just have to do a lot of planning cause I’m also a perfectionist it sometimes takes me a long time to get a video right. The time it takes is worth it cause I truly love teaching. I really appreciate your kind words and hope I can keep making “perfect presentations”

Just WOW! I have been trying to wrap my head around other 3D modeling programs such as Blender and Fusion and trying to get a design from my head to screen leaves me staring at the screen and watching endless 'how-to' videos. In less then half and hour you provided a simple approach of doing just that. It seems to have a Sketchup-ish feel to it which I love. Thanks for the time you have put into this. bees-knees to you!

@Scott Johnson I've been using SketchUp 2016 for a few years now and I had to teach myself. Now it is my goto program. I've tried nearly every other 3D design program with no success at all. However I like the way this Dude is presenting TinkerCAD as an option.

Thanks to you I’ve learned a lot about 3d printing, troubleshooting my printer and 3d design in a very short amount of time. I just got my first 3d printer two weeks ago.

If you added the half cylinders so that they were 2 mm above the workplace, would that have accomplished the same as adding a bottom layer? In other words, if the half cylinders weren’t touching the bottom surface of the work plane, would they still cut all the way through the material?
