**DISCLAIMER**
These lessons are based from the Minna No Nihongo Textbook (1st edition), which I chose because I’m familiar with it. But even if you don’t have the textbook, you can still follow along the lessons by just watching the video.
I'm not a native Japanese speaker nor am I a Japanese language teacher. I'm currently living in Japan and I use Japanese at work and daily life. I’m sharing what I’ve learned from my language school and through self-study. I’ve passed the JLPT N3 exam and am planning to take the JLPT N2 test in the future. So if you find any mistakes, feel free to let know so that we can all learn together. Thank you!

**AMAZON LINKS**
I cannot find the links for first edition, but I found the links for the latest edition of the textbooks which are pretty much the same as the first edition:

Hello, thanks for making this Video! I still don't get the difference between no hou ga and yori. Like, where is the difference between saying: Maria のほうが Julia より うたがじょず です。and Julia は Maria より うたがじょず です。Don't both mean that Maria is better at singing than Julia? Or are you not allowed to write it that way? Is there a certain rule that you can only use のほうが or より for certain words/adjectives? Because I still don't quite get when to use which one. Also, for the example in 21:28, why did you choose なに instead of どれ? Have a nice day!

Nathaniel Ilang, in this sentence we have an adjective so the subject/topic being described is mark with particle は. We use particle に if the sentence has a verb that shows direction or location e.g に行きます or にいます/あります.
