even the smallest thing like the way Tom always mentioned Harry, Louis, and Zayn in Liam’s accent video just makes me happy inside. maybe this is the closest comeback we will ever get from the boys. and yes it’s definitely Niall’s next.

Your break downs of people's accents are brilliant! The only thing I can't really grasp is the sing song, but I think it's because I am norwegian and that is a very sing song language. Being aware of how you speak yourself is really hard.

Thanks Marie! It can be quite subtle and Liam's accent isn't the strongest. Another accent that goes up and down like a melody is the Welsh accent of someone like Kathryn Jenkins.

I agree it is hard to be aware of how you speak. I confused an English speaker last week while trying to help them in Paris with my accent because I’m French, lived in the US for three years, am fluent in English but my accent is a mix of British Irish American and French. I never realised it until they asked. It’s a mess because of the people I listen to so I pick up different bits from everyone and of course there’s always the French in me in the background.

Well... I think for your last question the answer obviously is Niall Horan... Also how can anyone forget the "Orible" part... That moment is always remembered by all the directioners. Anyways... Everyone's accent changes over time, especially if they travel. It's called Linguistic Accomodation. Larry Mullen (U2 drummer) was once pure north Dublin. After 40 years on the road, he's now mid-Atlantic/British. Once we leave the place, we often leave the accent behind - mainly because we don't hear it spoken any longer.

Love this video! Heath town is in Wolverhampton btw, not outside of it. I think a video on the way TGFBro speak would be interesting. They're both from Dudley, the same place as Lenny Henry, and their accent is like Liam's but very strong. Would be great to see you analyse it!

From someone who lives in Tipton, in the Black country and is born and bred here, Brummies are Yam yam's as they say 'Yam' and I say 'Yow' and have been called a 'yow-yow', local variations need to be taken into account to give accurate information and I can definitely still hear Liam's BC accent although, not the BC dialect as it's a dialect rather than an accent as stated by the BCLM :)

Liam Payne is actually from Bushbury area, as opposed to Heath Town... I know this because he originates from the same area code that I come from! How mad is this though... That we were from streets apart as small children and years later his mom and dad are now located into a new post code area and close proximity apart to where I am located. I've never personally met Liam, but cross paths with his mom from time to time. She is so lovely btw! Can totally see why her son has turned out so well.

Liam lived just a few streets away from me, it is not Heath Town, his accent has changed a lot over the past 10 years... us yams yams don't say 'H's, he has picked up many bits of different accents.

Wolverhampton ay in the Black country mate. I'm from Dudley the heart of the Black country. Liam ay got a proper Black country accent although he supports a Black country team in West Bromwich Albion.
