Hi Marboni. Thanks very much. I don't speak Portuguese but I sang three songs in Portuguese at a concert a few weeks ago and everyone was impressed including the Brazilian Ambassador who came to the concert. I honestly want to learn the language.

I have been studying your language ( english) since 2016. So I can say that if you want to learn a new language it must be a life style, you have to practice every day to increase your skils. You'd be surprised how listening to the language repeatedly can help you learn it. My wife is Brazilian and listening to her talk to her friends and family has made me understand. I'm not a fluent speaker yet but can understand what she's talking about and luckily she's fluent in english so she can explain when I don't. I'd recommend this video to anyone.

Jeevan Chhetri look so Brazilian is a race so like it’s like I’m saying I’m Mexican. But I’m not really Mexican IM BRAZILIAN. And portuguese is the language Brazilians speak. It’s just in Portugal they speak Portuguese as well but it’s a bit different from Brazilian portuguese

I live in San Diego California and I meet so many Brazilians here. Brazilians are Awesome people and remind me so much of my Mexican counterparts. So now I’m learning Portuguese and hope to get good at it.

It's a little Bit harder in the beggining, but if you understand the Conjulgation of the verbs you get like 70% of the language.

I'm brazilian, I can't speak english fluent but I know a few things. All I know, I learned by hearding music, watching movies and series. I started watching in english with portuguese subtitles and then with english subtitles to see the words. The musics I always search on the google translate, and now i can understand a lot of things. If you wanna to learn other language (tha basic) I think thats a good way. If someone want a little help with portuguese, i can help with that

My landlord is Brazilian and met her here in Germany during my studies. She is an amazing person and since I had learned some Portuguese years ago from TV (so, I can understand her now) I decided to practice it with her and have a wonderful friend like her.

When we had just moved to the U.S. our downstairs neighbor was Brazillian and the next door neighbour was Italian. My mother only spoke Spanish, but all 3 were able to communicate so easily that they became good friends. Guess language will never be a barrier to gossiping ladies

Question for natives... So do Brazilians use tu or você more with friends? I heard it depends on the region, but I didn’t know that você was formal and tu was informal

You can use both. Just choose one. It doesn't matter at all. :)

usually we use “você” but there are some regions where it’s normal to use “tu” as well
