How do you pronounce the word אורך with a cholam on top of the Vav and a shwa below the resh? do you pronounce it Orcha or Oh-ray-cha?

why did you pronounce Haleluyah lie Ha/le/lu/yah? The first letter Hey has a short vowel followed by the letter Lamed that has a Shwa vowel. I thought that you do not vocalize the shwa when it comes after a short vowel.
