For me this is perfect. I have to slow the video to 75% and stop it every time something is said to study it for a while and repeat the Spanish for practice. I do 5 minute segments at a time. This is a study or learning tool for me. Thank you. ❤

This really helps me to learn. However, the translation disappears too quickly for me. I need to be able to hear and read the sentences in Spanish, and then look at the translation to see if I have understood it correctly, but there isn't enough time. Please can you change this? My wife is from Guatemala and I speak Spanish daily. I can get by almost everyday in the present tense, so videos like this are always appreciated because they aren't a bunch of baby words. I can learn without coaching when I hear and read the language slowly. Thanks again!!!

Would be easier if the subtitles were just below the thought bubbles and not down the bottom of the screen. They disappear before I get a chance to comprehend. I waste too much time going back.

Yes the subtitles are very fast but a possible way round the problem is to put up the transcript and if needed copy and print. You can have this in a number of languages including Spanish. I feel that this type of video is a very useful tool.

You can also pause, to digest what was just said (I'm doing that!) and also just change the playback speed. I do that on a lot of videos that are too fast for my level but are otherwise fine concept and vocabulary-wise.

Not easy to stop because itpasses so fast a simple english subtitle in the video shouldnt be so hard inside the video. Its impossible for someone to learn without learning word by word

On KZfaq settings, the playback speed can be adjusted. Slowing down to 0.75 works for me.

You can use “language reactor” (an add on for chrome) this will automatically stop the sentence and you will have enough time to study.

Don’t worry too much about understanding everything. Much can be understood from context in the video. Also, understanding takes time. With regular exposure, you will understand with time.

Because they have translated from English to spanish and in Mexico Estoy calinte means I am hot which means I am horney, tengo calor means I have heat which is, I am hot ,so the ai translation got mixed up

15:36 seconds in and this is the second subtitle error i have found. He says " Mi hermana aun me debe 25 euros." The subtitle says "my sister a baby of 25 euros" 😂 it actually means my sister still owes me 25 euros. I dont know if i should continue watching this if it is the second mistake in 15 minutes.

Yeah duh he’s got heat stroke! I know the symptoms went through it myself years ago. Was doing my landscaping, felt faint came inside confused as anything, went upstairs and collapsed upstairs and my dog got me up to get water. Fast pulse, dry skin, stopped sweating. Course I didn’t eat or drink anything, so who knows if this cartoon character ate and drank enough before going out on the beach. Keeping hydrated and a full stomach to keep your blood sugar up are a good way for real people to avoid heat stroke. It can be deadly.

Please, can someone explain this to me? Is this really how native Spanish speaks? I am very confused. I notice that in this video, the speakers omit some vowel or consonant and don't pronounce it, or that some Spanish words are not being emphasized. For example, when I noticed "Podemos", speakers in this video pronounced it "Po-eh-mos or poemos," and when I checked it in other sources, it pronounced exactly like Podemos without the silent "d." Another example is that I noticed a lot that the word "Padre" is pronounced "Pa-reh or pare." They don't say Padre with "d," but when I checked it on others, some would say it without the silent "d." Same goes for the word "Madre". And there are many words I noticed with a silent vowel or consonant, but some do not. What is really correct? Also in this sentence, "Si, he empacado mi chaqueta gruesa". The speaker omits "he". They don't really just pronounce some words. How does it make sense? Spanish is very complicated to learn.

I am a native Spanish speaker. It is better that you pronounce all the letters and vowels, do not learn from those who speak bad Spanish. Yes, something we don´t pronounce letters, but isn´t correct. In each country (Colombia, Puerto Rico, Argentina, etc) you will hear different ways of omitting letters and vowels. Ejemplo: Estoy cansaDo (I´m tired) = Estoy cansaO. In Puerto Rico the R something sounds like L: Estoy tomando ceRveza ( I´m drinking beer) = Estoy tomando ceLveza.

@@franciscojvacaThanks man, I watched spanish tv serie Elite and I often could not understand it and even match the words with spanish subtitles on. 😂 I really wonder how can even a native speaker understand that. In many sentences like every other letter wasnt pronounced. Only the students in the series did it, the adults in the series were all way more comprehensible. They also spoke so damn fast it is unbelieveable. I guess that is the reason to omit some letters to speak fast. It is like the fastest language I have ever heard.

@@kkarx A native can understand from the context of the phrase. Sometimes we don't understand a word, but from the phrase you interpret what word it was. That's why there are many word games because many of them can sound similar (homophones). For example, it happens to me that when speaking with another native speaker, sometimes I have to ask him to repeat myself or we laugh because I say: ah! I understood another word. So don't worry, it's everyday 😅

The pace of this video is too fast and impedes learning. The English subtitles have disappeared by the time the Spanish phrase has been heard and read in consultation with the cartoon depiction. If it could be slowed down this is a great way of learning. But at this pace it’s not possible to effectively absorb the visual, the audio and to read two printed languages.
