Oohh, you are drawing me in more and more. I MUST resist the call for another hobby. You make that look DECEPTIVELY easy. 😅

Same. Looks like I need to make a trip to the craft store. 🤣 Also, look for a second job.

That’s such a beautiful craft - I love beads. I don’t really need a new hobby, but for this one, I think I may already have all the supplies from my beading, crochet, and stitching hobbies! ❤❤❤

A bead spinner!!!! Didn't know such a thing existed, I'm 65😄
@revinaque13423 ай бұрын
Oh wow! How do you anchor the ends, and how does the bead spinner work?

Vermicelli! Like little worms? I love it. The randomized texture looks súper nice. Beautiful work!
@katmakes3 ай бұрын
Exactly like that! It's also an italian name for a very thin pasta but mentally (for me at least) it's definitely worms 🤣

Will you please make/show a video on how to use your bead loader for bottom beading?
@cesarbugarini4993 ай бұрын
U should hawk the fact tambour is defacto Haute coutures model for embroidery an a heart this full, AND with vermicelli elements, is a Lesage master type of work 😍😍😍👌

Watching this has inspired me to have a go. It's so beautiful. I currently enjoy cross stitch, embroidery and tapestry work, but have never tried this technique. Your work is so, so beautiful. Thankyou for the teaching series.

I've never seen a bead spinner, nor have I seen a crochet hook that small! fascinating stuff.

I do beading for jewelry and beaded embroidery. I recognize a Miyuki mix anywhere! 😁 So pretty! Maybe I’ll have to try tambourine next…

I don’t know why I didn’t know this was a thing until yesterday when you popped into my feed. I’ve been beading a scarf for years because it’s tedious to sew on tiny beads one at a time. I need to buy and learn some more.

Can this be done on thicker fabric?
@katmakes3 ай бұрын
Yes! You can do it on any fabric you can pierce with the needle (I've done denim, leather - all sorts!) but it does become more difficult when you can't see what your lower hand is doing, so I'd recommend learning on a sheer fabric like organza first if you can :)

Beautiful work, surely I will never meet your skills! I am convinced that manual artistic activity is a magnificent vehicle to develop internal stillness and the development of sustained attention, not allowing you to wander, go like a monkey, jumping from branch to branch.🎉 #LacrisálidaMerceria #Swami_manuel #CarlJungElMundoOculto #DoctorDecisive

how do you deal with a flaw or mistake in ur projects? do you redo the threading? just live with it? im asking as someone who does beading.. sometimes i lose interest in a pair of earrings Im making if I notice ONE bead out of place that I cant fix. does it involving learning to live with the inperfection of your projects?
@beckv85262 ай бұрын
I crochet and embroider so this is something I want to try. I want to order everything to start and do a project. Do you have a video where you list everything we should buy? Once I start I have to do my best. What can I start with as a project. I also sew. What tambour do you recommend? Thank you very much. I love your videos.

Check out my 'learn tambour embroidery' playlist of longform videos! The very first video in the series covers everything you need to get started - all links in the description, plus I share some ideas for workarounds using things you might potentially already have at home :)
