Thanks Alex. The preformance was flaw less man. So clean and beautiful. The move when he tells you his card was so smooth, it felt like you drop the entire deck to the table even before he told you the name of his card. Well, I guess I have some slights to go practise now 😄

This is a very nice trick but it is suspicious to me the fact that you cut and controlled the card before he names it in the performence

Don’t worry about it trust me. It’s all about your attitude and the way you perform! You can also use other sleights to achieve the same effect. Try it 😁

@@AlexBoyer Yep, I saw the same thing. My first thought was that it takes away from the legitimacy of the video (and I still that it does, a little bit.) But I realized that the method makes sense and you could have done it for real anyway. So I took with a grain of salt... Considering what you said in the video, maybe your friend (the "spectator") was there when you thought up the trick? Still a nice trick :-)

@@MikeWallaceDev you can also use Daniel Madison's Advocate as another way to do it.

Thats awesome, thanks. What do you think about this idea - instead of a doublebacker card, you use a normal card (A of spades or Q of hearts preferably :-p ) and in the 51/52 chance they choose another card you do the same move BUT you chaotically spread the rest of the cards faces up so you can throw the double there and the spare card blends into the rest just the same :)

@@AlexBoyer your videos are so great I really don't know why do you have to lie to us.. the four of clubs was at the bottom of the deck, then you cut to bring the jack at the bottom because you knew that he would have chosen it. There is no other reason why you would have looked for the jack and cut in that spot.

I have no intention of discrediting you, the effect is wonderful and all your videos are very great, but for these very reasons you don't need to lie to us!

This is genius. As a Hobbyist-- I would leave Double Backer on table as prediction and tell spec to name any card-- control to top and DL. But This!!!!!!!!! Nice!!!!!!!! My G's cop is actually one of my cleanest moves-- what I need to work on here is the 2 cards not splitting when I flick them from my palm. Amazing tutorial Alex !!!!!!!! Edit-- sorry I hadn't watched the last minute yet!! That's how I always used to do it--- But I think the first way is SO strong--- I'll start practicing now!!!!

Thank you for teaching us! I think by preserving this art many people could form these techniques into a healthy and creative hobby that could be used to cheer people up sort of like comedy, at social gatherings to maybe break the ice and get people to bond instead of using some sort of drug like alcohol, weed, pick a stimulant, unlike comedy though this art form tends to really stir up the residual curious energy among an audience and I believe that after an audience experiences these tricks and begins to try to think about how the trick is being performed this initiation of investigative thinking can have effects on conversations later that have nothing to do with the magic trick depending on how interested they were, especially kids that are seeing it. Whether it be a magic trick or a science experiment sparking an inquisitive mind and allowing it to be inquisitive is in my opinion essential for the backbone of any civilization if we expect there to be any innovation and/or invention that will upgrade it. It's peculiar that since innovation and invention are so crucial to our civilizations that concepts surrounding fostering and working on one's creativity isn't more popular. Who knows, maybe a smart kid simply needs to be exposed and guided to strike a balance between discipline and creativity and maybe just maybe the chances increase that their career and/or hobbies will be related to such works resulting disciplined, purely rational and creative thinking. This is what I think about when I should be sleeping so if you've made it this far don't be like me. Go to sleep when its time to go to bed. You'll thank yourself in the morning.

Salut ! Le clean up sul paquet cest classique.Mais j'aime bien ta fougue avec le mess de cartes comme revelation.Avec un advocate dans tes poches ca rehausse le tour encore plus..! Merci je suis partis sur une phase creation.🙂

Great tutorial, the performance was great but at first your gamblers cop looked like a zero fold. That would lead the trick in a completely different direction but interesting to play around with. Also this trick could be preformed the same exact way as the first method as long as the card had the same back, right? Like if it were an ad card with a normal back, either the A♠️ or Queen♥️ using the same patter as to say not to chose those cards? Awesome performance and effect, could lead to so many different possibilities!

Y'know what would be extra magical? Is if you placed the prediction down & ask the spectator to name any animal & when you flip over the card their animal climbs out of the card...you would need a little bigger table & a hidden zookeeper but I bet it would be a bit! Your thing was still cool though😜 thank you Alex 👍
