Yes, although I like two other Pastors equally for different reasons, I find Rick Warren the best in interpreting and cross-referencing Scripture to communicate themes in powerful ways!

You won’t be persuasive when you are abrasive. Don’t be quarrelsome. Be gentle and treat others with respect and dignity even if you disagree with them.

"Guys, a woman always feels better when you speak gently to her!" So true! I had to hear shouting and scolding all my childhood. My 3 sons now are strong and gentle with their families and to me. So good, though I had a divorce long ago. There was too much broken inside. God knows why, the praise still be to him!

Thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience. It's comforting now as I forgive and look to our perfect Heavenly Father for how we are to be treated, loved and how we are to respond to others. So glad our heavenly father blessed us and allows us to see the difference has made in the lives of our children, through Christ Jesus. Peace and blessings my sister.

I think I've known these teachers preachers pastors ministers forever family for when I was a younger guy probably around 18 in the in the '70s when I accepted Jesus when truck Smith had his church in Costa Mesa and Saddleback was just getting planted now I get to listen to Pastor Rick Warren teach me such good stuff God bless you guys love you love you

Rick love your words you've helped me through some hard times I have been going through a tough time with my health and being depressed and fearful, I listen to you and it has helped me deal with my situation Jesus is always with me and everyone. I learned that I shall not want and that has truly better my relationship with the Lord even though I still sometimes stumble over my feelings, emotions and disaiers. But little by little God is helping me.

How I respond to stress, believe it or not, I just found out after living 46yrs of my living, I became very critical to people around me. I confess mouth is the weakness that I am struggling to bring under controly word is harsh and extremely hurtful when I am stress and angry but I thankful to your words, to be teachable

Wauw !!! Again a wonderfull video!! You can make everything so clearly...even better if i read the bible ! I wished i had seen this one just a day sooner. I was thinking i am a gentle woman, but yesterday my man made me again so upset and angry ! He has addictions...i am fighting that battle with him. It seems so hopeless. Drink, drugs, etc. 13 years i know him wich 9 he got addicted more and more. I fight this battle alone....yesterday i spoke a lot to him to wake him up ! Because of frustration and grieve my voice raise up ....and now i feel again i missed my chance to reach out to him !!! Every time i want not to get upset. But if he has a certain attitude then before i know it it is oil on a fire! I loose my control because i feel hurt...want him to understand me how it affects me what he does... he is acting even more upsetting. After a night sleeping i am greaving even more. Wished i saw this video before i spoke to him. But sometimes it is sooooo difficult to be gentle.... i wish i could be more like this even in very difficult times. I am sad now i didn't stay under control....especially now i know how stronger gentleness can be ! Thank you pastor Rick Warren for your preaches you have a real skill to do so !!🥰

@@CrispNoodles after 5 years splitting up, it got only worser. He still comes at my door unexpectacilly. Sometimes with a month in between, or longer. I dont let him in. Better i dont go to my door at all. Everytime the same attitude. Drunk, cocaine, wants 5 min talk, i said you had 14 y !! When you are normal, sober, we can talk, not if you are not serious and come drunk! But inside of me i feel emotions coming up. Takes few hours or 3 days to feel calm again. That is why it is better not show up by the door at all. He still does the same things... Plus ofcourse busy with social media, women etc. Last time i saw him at his door, i was going to shopcentre. Said again if he is like a drunk, dont come anymore at mydoor !!! Apoligize and says he will not come anymore. I did again my speech about drinking etc, get help of clinic...says diffcult... that he cannot go on like this! Then i see ignorence and change the subject. Probably not hit his rockbottom. It is a pitty. He is/was the love of my life. But i have to accept he dont want to change, because he still likes it. Yes, i am still grieving. We could have been happy together. There is NO motivation from his part... so i have to reprogram myself and let him go for my own sake. But it stays hard. My mind is still busy with him due he comes at my door. We just live nearby. Tháts make it difficult too. But i am not leaving my house because of him. One day there will be the moment he knows i was right about stopping his addictions, that will be too late. He choose for this. Although i offert my help. It is difficult to let him go... but i will not exept he destroys my life....although i wonder if i have a life after this....i do my best to create my own happiness

In my Whole LIFE I have learned JESUS leads me to places where People are RUDE and always loves conflict and Thank GOD He pruned ME.. Truly theres no BEAST that You can Tame.. True unbelievers oppressed believers of GOD. Moses expressed his Anger because people Provoke HiM a lot instead of Thanking HIM that he followeR Of GoD but they keep on nagging, Blaming Moses.. Moses Hate how People Treaf HIM unrighteous.. The Stoey about Service Crew was like My Story when I waa 18... Truth the Evil spirit consumed in a MAN to act RUDE to others..Thank GOD hecis always there for ME. GOD bless your Church..
