That was actually bussin, I had no idea it only took 30 seconds to microwave eggs, so much easier to microwave instead of getting a pan dirty and messing up the kitchen just for eggs

It helps to put a small amount of room temp water into the bowl before cracking a refrigerated egg into it. This way the water boils before the egg and cooks the egg more thoroughly and prevents it from stubbornly sticking to the bowl. Still heat it incrementally like said in this vid though as the yolk could still explode.

Hahahaha! Since I've been banned from the stove, I've been practicing making snacks (mainly mugcakes) in the microwave to the point of not needing an actual recipe for me to make it work. I'm heading towards eggs to start off with making breakfast. Soon I'll be making an entire buffet for myself using only the microwave. I'm even considering mastering the toaster at this rate.

Tonite , I had a yen (no pun) for a quick egg and toast. So I chose your video at random. I've never used the microwave to cook an egg. But I experimented this way: I used a small Corel cereal dish and cracked into it (successfully-one handed--first time ever). Instead of FULL power of 10, I set it up for 5 minutes @ a setting of 3. It came out just fine. I would mention---ALWAYS COVER YOUR EGGS (or anything) to avoid splatter and a nasty cleanup. In this case, there was no splatter. Thanks for the ideas.

Girl I suggest you don’t try this especially for someone else cause it tasted like vomit and I got a stomach ache from eating this after making it (I’m talking about the first one btw) also it is took easy to fry an egg just heat up the stove, crack the egg on a pan and let it fry till it’s ready you can tell on your own cause you can’t calculate the exact time for frying an egg for me 10 is enough but try it till your satisfied

I used to have a little microwave egg container. It had a spot for 2 eggs and you'd crack egg, add a splash of water and they came out perfect for breakfast sandwhiches.. this video he says it's done but it sure doesn't look done at 2:55... definitely wouldn't eat that lol

Wait when you cook it mixed with cup noodles for 3 mins does that means it cooked. btw I cooked it for 3 mins but the yolk was still liquid so I boiled it in water for 30 secs

just an fyi, eggs dont take that long to cook, and also, even if the yolk inside is still liquid, so long as the "outer" skin is thoroughly cooked (the white, and yellowish color gel like substance in it) so long as thats cooked, you should be fine :) hope this helps ^_^ And yes, cooking it inside a cup of ramen (your basically cooking the egg regardless as both the heat from the microwave and the water is at a greater temperature than the egg itself can handle so its being cooked) XD Just make certain you cook the egg thoroughly! The Yolk doesn't have to be solid, it can be liquid ^_^

adding a little bit of butter, oil or nonstick spray to the cup will make sure it comes out clean. Also you can poach an egg in the microwave but it tastes more like boiled egg XD

Good on you for learning the one hand technique but.. you don't have to be a ninja. Once the dish is hot, the egg will keep cooking until its out. You can cook 2 min, set it aside and it will continue cooking while you finish etc. Fyi
