They are a little different: - todos los días = everyday - cada día = each day / each and every day In non-specific contexts, these two are interchangeable most of the times. ‘Cada día’ treats days individually, one by one. And ‘todos los días’ refers to them collectively. 👍

In Mexico, the ‘ll’ and the ‘y’ are pretty much the same, and both are similar to the English ‘j’. There are variations based on region and countries. Thanks!

I think we just take it for granted and learn that it's masculine. But it's because nouns of Greek origin that end in -ma, -pa, and -ta are masculine. Hope it helps!
